For me & my work, it has to do w/ issue of equity. Importance of that topic (obviously!) & how it's become part of a daily conversation at work (which is as it should be). Just wish I'd known so that I had been better prepared (which is like me, Mr. Careful Preparation). #BFC530

Maybe the amount of change I have experienced professionally, but the suprises have been good & the disappointments have been learning experiences. Prior knowledge would have lessened both.

I remember, Kathy, when QU (used to be QC) was this tiny little, no name school. #BFC530 Now, it is a powerhouse. My father goes to all the home hockey games. QU has an awesome men's team.

There is a place here in the DC area that does a close approximation of the New Haven style pie. And it is pretty good - but not like the real thing! #BFC530 We also like Modern Apizza a lot too.

I wish I had known how to be a better disciplinarian! I got hired in December and kids really have been testing me since them. I have not been up to the challenge - wish I had started off tougher. There always next year #bfc530

At the beginning of the year I felt very overwhelmed, unqualified to be the T for my Ss. I had so much to learn. I “knew” I would eventually learn the things I needed to, and apply them to my practice, but I wish “knew” that with a little more confidence at the beginning #BFC530
One of the secrets I believe to good teaching is quality relationships followed by the ability to learn about your Ss and what is best for them. After that most other things fall into place. #bfc530
