A1 Lots of things intrigue me - travel, writing, blogging. My latest question in my classroom has been about teaching more authentic purposeful mathematics to my kindergartners. #fcpslearn
A3: Easy. So much connected to music is directly related to our emotions. If we could build a bridge between how we feel and what we learn, imagine the lasting connections that can be created. #fcpslearn

A2 One thing I've lrnd after 20 yrs in an inquiry-based schl: we can lrn anything together. My kinders collaboratively lrnd abt masterpieces; trains; ice & snow; puppetry; fabric. Once we learn how to research 1 important thing together, we know how to start on our own.#fcpslearn
Trying my best to get the musicians to use their talents outside of the band room. Not having much success. I have told our oldest daughter to play her violin for an ELA test. She looked at me like I was crazy. #fcpslearn
A4: Might make PD more exciting and individualized. On the other hand, you will always have people that would resist and claim that they have no passions or outside interests. #fcpslearn
A4: When PD connects with personal growth and interest, the passion for learning that is owned by the Ts will have an amazing trickle down effect to Ss, creating a sense of urgency for learning and growing!

A4 - More appropriate for what a particular teacher or classroom needs...I may not need any PD on tiered instruction, but do need to learn about something else.

A3 Finding engaging books is instrumental as well as interesting people & thought-provoking field studies. With my K's, we continually reference the joy we feel when we learn about whatever our interests are - & wonder aloud how to answer more questions we've posed. #fcpslearn
A5: We are all unique beings with individual passions. Our goal is to foster connections between what we get to do each day and the skills that our Ss come to school pre-loaded with. We must shift them from traditional forms of demonstration of understanding. #fcpslearn
A5: I’ve found this years students love to create- @suireMHS & @packarde4 have amazing project ideas that allow choice in demonstrating gained knowledge of units- I plan to have Ss use @Flipgrid and @PlayDoh to create models of achievements of river valleys!

A1: historical biographies of leaders. If I could learn anything at all, I would learn the key to human resilience and how to activate it for those in despair. #fcpslearn
A4 PD with our thoughts & interests? We may never even have to leave the building! When I coach in my colleagues' rooms on shared topics, we learn so much from each other. Between Twitter & personal coaching, my PD is growing constantly w/ things I really care abt. #fcpslearn
A5 My Students currently love Fortnite and Roblox @Buncee has included Fortnite dancers in their stickers. My students love adding them to their assignments wherever possible 😀 #fcpslearn
