The mission of #TynkerChat: Are we adequately preparing students for an unknown future? Can we, through community and sharing, make this unknown “known?” Let us lift up the conversation about making sure that when our students enter the workforce- they have the skills to thrive.
#TynkerChat will be held every Monday, starting March 13th.
A1: Engaging in end of the year excitement! Pushing kids to finish strong can show that hard work before a break is always better than slacking off. It starts with teachers giving fun engaging assignments that will lead to creative thinking before brain hibernation! #TYNKERCHAT
The end of the year is a great time to engage in fun aspects of learning so students stay active with their brains. The Crash Course history is a fantastic way to learn in a fun, easy way. #tynkerchat
The next step for me is finding a fun way to study for finals, in college finals are dreadful but you find a way to push your limits, getting all m students to feel this in a high school setting would be a great accomplishment. #tynkerchat

A4: Engaging fellow teachers can be a part of collaboration. In my high school our chemistry teachers would pit classes against each other in a game. This was a semester long game and the winner would earn a pizza party. This created collaboration between teachers. #tynkerchat
