Recently I had to confront & speak out against mistreatment of high school basketball players at the place I was coaching. I had to confront district administration and give a voice for the players who felt voiceless. I had to be willing to take the brunt of backlash #engagechat

A5: the moment you decide to go into education. We dont do it for the pay, law makers who have never spent a day in the classroom, and kids who come from varying situations. But in the end we show up for our kids so that we can make a difference in their lives.
