I only upload there for situations where a S can't open a dropbox link. Most of the videos are linked to the assignment sheet or I send a link to a struggling S. #moedchat

A1 podcast are a great way to set outside studying for student, almost like assigning YouTube videos. But I feel students wouldn’t be interested by just audio alone. #edfb4338#MOedchat

A3) It gives the Ss a break from the T, it show the Ss how to find information and other media platforms. It allows for Personalized Learning and enrichment. Adds another resource. #MOEdchat

As a kid, I think I would have loved listening to podcasts on long bus ride to/from school. Maybe I should load some on mp3 players for checkout from library. #MOedchat

A1: totally do this. My Ss have a biweekly podcast for tech and student tech leaders. Also Ss can use the studio for podcasts of student projects. #MOedchat

A3: Ss used their phones or Macs, used a student made image/logo as an overlay on iMovie audio. We ran it through a YouTube link. This year we can run it through a Google audio link, but I like the image overlay on iMovie. We have iPads for that. #moedchat
A3: my Ss and I use a portable rig with a soundboard and 4 mics. The software is #audacity (free) as well as @YouTube live events through Google Hangouts. #MOedchat

A4: Tonight, I'm learning the platforms. We just cobbled and hobbled through with minimal resources, nothing fancy, but memorable, yes. Favorite casts: Conspiracy Theories and School Policies. #moedchat
A4. On our iPads & iPhones, we use the Podcast app that comes w the device (couldn’t be easier!) On Chromebook, we use the individual websites for each podcast so there’s no messing w platforms #moedchat
A3: dang, I just remembered I did have a pair crest a podcast for a PBL last year. They just did a simple audio recording, but they did do it... #MoEdChat
We created digital stories. Worked with art teacher to bring their art work to life. Some chose to record their work within audacity and share it with me in a Drive folder. #moedchat

I think it has to do with the placement, if the mic is outside of the device it always seems to be better at picking up the sound and not the noise #MOEdchat

A5) I love podcast-I listen to them in car (i think that has lead to my son's enhanced vocabulary, has not been scientifically proven). I listen while I work, clean or just to zone out. I have replaced my music with podcasts. #teachernerd#historynerd#MOEdchat

I live steps from the school, so I don't get very many opportunities but I listen when I'm waiting at appointments and in the morning while getting ready. #moedchat
My teachers are trying it at the end of the month in primary 🤞🏻And I love Radio WillowWeb! All student created by elem kids even in primary. Take a listen! #moedchat

It's like when I create a video for my students and/or their parents - I rarely listen to the finished product because I don't want to hear myself. Ha ha! #moedchat
