Good evening! I am participating this week as an assignment for a pre-service tech methods class at @umontana with @mikegusto and @techsavvyteach. I look forward to gaining some insight on twitter chats! Thank you for having me. #MTedchat
Hello Montana teachers! I am currently an elementary ed student @umontana and cannot wait to learn from all of y'all this evening! My Tech in Education professors @mikegusto and @techsavvyteach introduced us to this chat in an effort to show how educators collaborate! #MTedchat
My name is Gracie Lynn Sartori @gsartori27 I am joining in from Kalispell, MT tonight. My role will be to participate in the questions and get oriented with Twitter as a social network opportunity with fellow educators #MTedchat
Hi! Sierra Ireland current student at @umontana studying Elementary Education! I am excited to be apart of this chat and meet like minded educators! #MTedchat
Q1: “The world is my classroom, each day is a new lesson, and every new person I meet is my teacher.” How do/can these words impact you as an educator? #MTedchat
I would say that, just by your participation here and your use of the word "aspiring," you are actually a teacher ;-) Welcome to you and your classmates...er, colleagues! #mtedchat
A1: Each new person is every student I teach. When in HS I couldn't believe the enrichment the kids gave me. Now the T's are my S's. Everyday is different now that I'm "old" I appreciate the world differently #MTedchat
Q1: “The world is my classroom, each day is a new lesson, and every new person I meet is my teacher.” How do/can these words impact you as an educator? #MTedchat
A1: A true learner isn't confined to a classroom or a school. Learning requires only an open mind and the vision to see every moment (even the difficult ones) as an opportunity to grow. #MTedchat
A1: As I see the adult population around me I wonder what they looked like as a kid? I'm always trying to see Ss futures and adults past. Curiousity? Compassion for sure. Trying to have vision for all Ss. #MTedchat
A1.2: This quote is also a great reminder that we need to bring the world into the walls of the classroom and allow students to learn from others (not just the T). #MTedchat
ALL things provide an opportunity to learn, and I love to do it! The thing I think I often forget is that others are learning from me, too... and maybe sometimes I need to set a better example ;-) #mtedchat
Q1: “The world is my classroom, each day is a new lesson, and every new person I meet is my teacher.” How do/can these words impact you as an educator? #MTedchat
Every day in the world is a learning opportunity. As aspiring educators or educators in the field, it is our job to soak it any opportunity there is to learn. Learning opportunities are everywhere! #MTedchat
Q1: “The world is my classroom, each day is a new lesson, and every new person I meet is my teacher.” How do/can these words impact you as an educator? #MTedchat
A1: As an educational system leader, I hear these words and remember our connections have a ripple effect. Every human we interact with has a story. We can learn with and from everyone. Take time to listen. #mtedchat

Q1: “The world is my classroom, each day is a new lesson, and every new person I meet is my teacher.” How do/can these words impact you as an educator? #MTedchat
A1 I think this is a great reminder that as teachers we are not the keepers of ALL the knowledge, but are learners and if open to it, we can learn so much from and with our students. #mtedchat
A1: It reminds me that even as an educator we don't know everything. There are always new things to be learned and to embrace and we/I need to be open to those ideas! After all there is always more then one way to find an answer ;) #MTedchat
A1, Especially being a pre-service teacher, everyone I meet, and every teacher I interact with is a HUGE influence on who I will be in my own classroom. We can always be learning from each other, and everyone we meet #MTedchat
A1: The world is full of opportunities to both gain and share knowledge. Everyday should be treated as an opportunity to share and gain new information and experience. #MTedchat
A1.2: This quote is also a great reminder that we need to bring the world into the walls of the classroom and allow students to learn from others (not just the T). #MTedchat
A1: As educators, it is our job to find a learning opportunity wherever we go. Embrace the world and the people surrounding you because you will learn more than you ever thought possible! #MTedchat
A1 With technology/social media we have access to just about any info across the world we could want. Anyone can be a teacher - we don't have to be the experts with all the knowledge. Sometimes kids are the teachers, sometimes parents, sometimes people we've never met #mtedchat
A1: To me, this is a testament to the fact that we as people should never take for granted the opportunities we have to learn from those around us. Education comes in many different forms, and this is a nice reminder to never become complacent in our learning. #MTedchat
A1: I think the inferred meaning is that we don't have all the answers and we're not supposed to. We're supposed to figure it out. Imagine holding to that and trying to write an educational framework. #MTedchat
This is a GREAT point. We have almost gotten to a point where we are on information OVERLOAD and have to self-check so we don't "overlearn" or focus on the wrong things. #mtedchat

Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
A1: I am learning in my observation classes that every day is a new lesson meaning different students need different instructional techniques. One explanation may work for one student, but another may need more clarification. #MTedchat
Memorizing facts and dates are just things that we learn in school, the education is everything else school teaches-how to work in groups, how to think critically about the world! #MTedchat
A2: We sometimes have to forget "the way we learned" or "what worked for me was". But also, the feeling. The great things I replicate are the ideals that made me feel good. Also, iteration and re-learning are where the best innovations are found. #MTedchat
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
A2 If we are still teaching the way we learned, I believe we are missing the boat. The world is not the same as it used to be, and we must be more thoughtful about what and how we are (implicitly or explicitly) asking our students to learn. Make it meaningful #mtedchat
A2: Make it memorable! They won't remember being taught to read or add, even thought they'll have learned it. It's those epic monumental moments IMO. I try to do this often. #MTedchat
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
This is such an important point, Gracie. It's easy to get caught up in the bigger picture, the lesson/unit plans, etc. (which matter, no doubt!), but we can't forget that there are opportunities for us to teach AND to learn in even the most mundane moments! #MTedchat
A2: As teachers, we need to put an emphasis on teaching critical thinking and introduce our students to skills that will allow them to continue learning without us. #MTedchat
A2: True learning is experiential: it's tactile, relational, sometimes traumatic, difficult. Learning engages with the community, both local and global. #mtedchat
A2: Specific dates, facts, or procedures might easily be forgotten if not used consistently (I see this a lot with math), but the deeper lessons from our classrooms will be internalized and taken with students for the long haul. #MTedchat
A2 What has a better chance to stick w/Ss is not the content we teach, but the relationships developed w/Ts, learning process understood from Ts & the confidence that relationship & process leaves in a child #mtedchat
A2: Ugh... Sorry for the typo!! Anyway... We need to provide students the opportunities to learn how to learn, to learn how to apply what they learn, and the confidence to innovate and lead. #mtedchat We are not experts, we are guides.
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
Education can be found through experiences, mistakes, etc not just school/teachers/books. Honestly this makes me a bit sad that these two are sometimes separated. I want to value my Ss experience/teach them learning can be fun/inspire them to want to educate themselves #mtedchat
A2: True learning is experiential: it's tactile, relational, sometimes traumatic, difficult. Learning engages with the community, both local and global. #mtedchat
A2 We need to be teaching students how to be lifelong learners, so even if they forget the content or skills they have means of learning new content and skills. #mtedchat
A2: I don't remember everything my teachers taught me.However, I do remember every teacher who genuinely cared for my education and me. I think it's important to build relationships with students and to remember you may be the only positive thing in their lives. #MTedchat
A2b: I'm reminded of another quote from Dr. Alex Russell: "Students learn best when we allow them to experience painful, non-catastrophic failure." THAT'S sticky learning! #mtedchat
A1: It reminds me that even as an educator we don't know everything. There are always new things to be learned and to embrace and we/I need to be open to those ideas! After all there is always more then one way to find an answer ;) #MTedchat
Dude... I can always count on you ;) Yes, content is important... and if it is only 'remembered' and not used...it can be wasted knowledge. #mtedchat Love ya, man ;)
Yes... that's why I always have the four critical areas of 21st century learning in mind... Collaboration, Creativity, Communication and Critical Thinking... Those are key to learning and MUST be interactive. #mtedchat
"We are not experts, we are guides." These words are so comforting to me as I face the equally daunting and thrilling prospect of becoming a first-time teacher! Thanks for my new mantra--other pre-service teachers, take note! #MTedchat
A2 "Tell me I forget, teach me I may remember, involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin I try to remember this quote each day with my kinders. #mtedchat
Strong relationships are the foundation for impactful academic learning as well. Helpful later in life but also in real time in the classroom. #MTedchat
A2: For me, this just brings to mind the quote "They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel." -Carl W. Buechner. I hope to be an educator that teaches more than just curriculum; someone who inspires kindness and humanity towards all #MTedchat
A2- What remains after we leave school is truly important, we take with us the connection we had with friends, teachers, teammates, coaches, and all the others we associated with in our moral communities, we remember the way learning made us feel, it's always empowering #mtedchat
I live by this every day of my life... as a teacher, as a parent, as a principal, as a human... It takes confidence to guide, but confidence can be fostered through the process of learning. #mtedchat (#Iamanerd)
A3: I learn from kids every day. I work with my Film Studies kids on their projects and my view is constantly being widened. They challenge me with their fervour and thirst for knowledge - they teach me things all the time! #mtedchat
A3) Counting collections. I wanted to intervene but I waited and listened to Ss thinking. Took notes to guide me until they were "stuck." Asked Qs to scaffold them to next skill. #MTedchat
Makes my edu-heart SO happy. It can be frustrating and hard, but that disequilibrium is important for us to experience as teachers...our students often live in that head-space. #mtedchat
A3.1 I used to do Word of the Day, and one day's word was GUSTO (see that @mikegusto?). I had a boy who had moved from Mexico, who up until this point, had NEVER spoken aloud in class. We started talking about the etymology of the word, he tentatively raised his hand... #mtedchat
A3) One thing that I am always reminded of from my learners is patience. Some students get easily frustrated or angry. That's when I remember how important it is for us as teachers to remain calm and patient with our students. They will follow the behavior we model. #MTedchat

A2: The thinking process humans use to solve problems once they have left school is all from what is learning as school age children. Once the basics are mastered, one can blossom upward into a world full of learning opportunities! #MTedchat
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
A3.2 and said, "I know this word! In Spanish it means like when something tastes good!" He said it with such gusto... we finally made a connection! And the whole class then knew he was really with us! :-) #mtedchat
A3: The first time I taught geometry through origami... Working with my 5th graders, I learned SO much about how every student has a different approach, a different level of patience, a different reaction to frustration. Managing that was hard. Powerful #mtedchat
A3 pretty much every day! My Ss amaze me constantly w/their insight & ideas. On a daily basis one of them says something during # talks that blows my mind especially since I grew up in the age of memorization. I feel like I have a better understanding of math this year #MTedchat
A3 I learned to code from my K-1 Ss. I got them started using @kodable and they did the rest! We figured it out together and suddenly I saw their great untapped potential #mtedchat
A3 I love to introduce the basics of something new and have my kiddos explore and teach me the great features they discover. It’s really like 20 teachers and learning from an excited classmate is way cooler than from the teacher anyway. #mtedchat
A3: I do #numbertalks (#mtbos) and every day my students solve our math problem in a way I never even considered. Also my students teach me something about pop culture constantly. "You don't know that, Ms. M?" #mtedchat
A3: I had a student question the "why?" behind every ELA assignment one year. I started asking myself "why?" and guess what? My assignments became more meaningful and relevant. #mtedchat
A3: Working with teachers as an instructional coach... Many teachers hide behind their doors and have SO much to offer. I learned every day in that position. Was great to help break those doors down and establish networks of innovation and conversation (like #mtedchat ;)
AGREED! Origami was a game-changer for me. Students who didn't typically excel finally had a chance to shine, and some of those kids who always "did school" finally got to struggle. #mtedchat

A3: I had a student question the "why?" behind every ELA assignment one year. I started asking myself "why?" and guess what? My assignments became more meaningful and relevant. #mtedchat
A3: Everyday! My Ss teach me something all the time. Usually in math, but I have know to get into a chat about Happy Potter or Minecraft. I just never know what is coming my way. #mtedchat
A3 I love to introduce the basics of something new and have my kiddos explore and teach me the great features they discover. It’s really like 20 teachers and learning from an excited classmate is way cooler than from the teacher anyway. #mtedchat
A3: I think one of my favorite things students say are, "But did you know.." it makes my heart skip a beat because I know they are truly invested in what they are learning and take initiative in their own learning as well. They get to be their expert for a second. #MTedchat
A3: Each day I am humbled by the perseverance and determination of my Ss. As I watch them work so hard to make connections & figure out new content it pushes me outside of my box to figure out a better way to teach. They are my inspiration! #mtedchat
A3: I work in a learning diverse environment. I like to find talents in my SS. Took a S who destroyed old tech and taught him how to change RAM & load Linux. As an 8th grader I think he left know as much as I did. #mtedchat
A3: I often find myself feeling as though I leave my observation hours learning more from the students rather than them learning from me! I have learned how to scaffold and accommodate for each child’s personality. Accomodate your teaching style to a learning style. #MTedchat
The "right answer" question drives me crazy! I want to hear how they got to that point, what do they think, but that will take some time & modeling #mtedchat
Don't feel like you have to reply to every Q... Side conversations are equally important. The chat is always here, so you can continue to reflect beyond 9:00 PM #mtedchat ;)
A3: Everyday I work with students, I learn something new. Whether it be a new cool game or how the way I introduced a topic didn't really make sense. #MTedchat
A3) I had a student the other day ask me to listen to a rapper he likes. I told him I would as long as he works diligently. Since then he has regularly given me songs to look up and asks for my help more frequently on his blogging project. #MTedchat
Q4: “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” Think about equity in education, why does this perspective matter? #MTedchat
A3 First time I saw Ss do a @breakoutEDU game, I had a moment when I wondered what in the world I had been doing my whole career! How many times had I jumped in & "helped" too soon? How many times were the answers right there, but Ss didn't know where or how to look. #mtedchat
A3: I think someone already stated something of the likes, but I am certain that I've learned far more during my time in the classroom than I've taught. Students are SO much more patient and capable and extraordinary than they often get credit for. #mtedchat
A3: I think someone already stated something of the likes, but I am certain that I've learned far more during my time in the classroom than I've taught. Students are SO much more patient and capable and extraordinary than they often get credit for. #mtedchat
A1: I think it means that you can learn something from pretty much every experience in you're life and every person you meet. There's no limit to worldly experience as long as you are willing to learn from it. #MTedchat
A3- Kindergarten students taught me to laugh more, first graders taught me to play more, second graders taught me to build more, and right now... third graders are teaching me to ask more. #mtedchat
This is year 27 for me & I wish I could go back 20 yrs & teach then how I teach now What we are doing now in the classroom is true education because Ss are a big part of the process #mtedchat
This is year 27 for me & I wish I could go back 20 yrs & teach then how I teach now What we are doing now in the classroom is true education because Ss are a big part of the process #mtedchat
A4: Working on an area reservation, many of our community members have had conflict with the school system historically... They were not always able to share what they've learned. Also, many students who don't fit 'school' traditionally, lack opportunity for voice #mtedchat
Q4: “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” Think about equity in education, why does this perspective matter? #MTedchat
A3) Daily. Love learning from Ts ea. day as I walk through rooms! Best learning, and gut check: asked S in trouble for fighting...haven’t I been respectful? (A) No! and elaboration. Remind myself of that day often! #MTedchat
A4 ALL STUDENTS CAN LEARN! It is up to Ts to find the method by which each Ss learn We need to support & refine their methods so they own their learning #MTedchat
Ohhhhhhh... We need some time together!! I LOVE using Minecraft with students ;) Learned so much by watching my kids... can be a powerful tool ;) #mtedchat I want to start after-school club.
A4) I feel as though a lot of students today have forgotten that education used to be a privilege. We are so lucky to have access to equal opportunities. We must always try to teach in a way that our students find value in their education.#MTedchat
A4) Perspective matters because historically, education has not been equally accessible. I think it's appropriate to still ask the Q "is education equitable for ALL?" #MTedchat
Q4: “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” Think about equity in education, why does this perspective matter? #MTedchat
A4: Our neediest students are too often the ones who are denied the opportunity to learn. This is why high expectations for ALL students is so important. #mtedchat
A3: Today as I was facilitating a discussion, I doubted my spelling abilities. A very sharp sage in the front row looked at me and said "Yes, that's right-always trust yourself." WOW! A 3rd grader schooled me (again) in the power of believing in yourself. #lifelessons#MTedchat
A4 I remember a college professor saying once that kids will learn despite us; I took that to mean thatAll students can and DO learn. It's not what we say... it's what we allow them to do that makes this happen. #mtedchat
Hi Travis!! It was SO great to see you last week! We need to create another opportunity. (Great example... love the behavior management strategy). #mtedchat
It's the hardest thing; I am positive we do it because we think we're helping, but I often wonder if we're really just snatching away their opportunities to learn it for themselves. #mtedchat
...and our neediest Ss need us to keep going & not let them settle on who they are at the moment I've had several "needy" Ss who really turned it on in HS & college #mtedchat
#MTedchat
A4 Equity and access are so important for all Ss. We need to know our Ss and the adversity many of them face in order to reach them in their learning journey. So important to build relationships and personalize learning. #MTedchat
A4: I agree with @AnnBruckerEDU Ss will learn w/o us. It's not always when and what we want. I'm most urgent for those who are at risk of disconnecting. If we don't inspire them to learn, then what happens?... #mtedchat
Agreed... Depending where you teach, you will be surprised to learn that our systems are still not equitably accessible... Many students are still lost in gaps. Important to stay aware and be an advocate ;) #mtedchat (Most issues are systemic and schools need new voices)
It's so hard not to "rescue" students when we see them struggle. I talked about this in #innovatingplay#gafe4littles chat. Learning happens during the struggle to learn. #MTedchat
In reply to
@AnnBruckerEDU, @BixKristy, @breakoutEDU
A4: Socioeconomic status comes to mind. Those Ss who have parents speak up for them can have different experience from those who's parents are trying to pay the bills or put food on the table. I try to make sure ALL of my S voices are heard and they know they matter! #MTedchat
A4 I have a S that has had some severe behaviors that’s led to him missing class in the past. The further he fell the more behaviors he’s had. This year he’s in the class making huge gains & the behaviors are almost non existent. No one can take that learning from him #MTedchat
#MTedchat
A4- We all have something to teach, we all have something to learn, being honest, open-minded, and willing to listen to others can create an environment where everyone's voice can be heard and honored #mtedchat
A4One of the things this makes me think of is Indian Education for All in our Montana schools-but I believe we need to be integrating as many cultures, as often as possible! Not just one book a year and calling our classes mulitcultural #MTedchat
Q5: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Thinking about these words, how does curriculum design and/or environment matter? #MTedchat
I need to sign off early! This has been an incredible #MTedchat thanks to @cristama for writing such thoughtful Qs and to @mikegusto and @techsavvyteach for bringing the future Ts to the chat!
A5) Hey, didn't someone mention this earlier? If you involve Ss in education by letting them make choices and guide their learning (ex-goal setting), then they are more invested in what and how they learn. #mtedchat
Q5: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Thinking about these words, how does curriculum design and/or environment matter? #MTedchat
Yes to this! In my limited classroom time, the vast majority of both my most challenging and most wonderful, career path-reaffirming moments have arisen from these very situations. Such an important question to ask ourselves. #MTedchat
A3 First time I saw Ss do a @breakoutEDU game, I had a moment when I wondered what in the world I had been doing my whole career! How many times had I jumped in & "helped" too soon? How many times were the answers right there, but Ss didn't know where or how to look. #mtedchat
We need to take a role as advocate both locally and through our vote and/or actions nationally. Changes occur with every administration and the shifts can have a tidal wave effect. Knowing helps, using voice helps more (stepping off soapbox ;) #mtedchat#mtpol#mtedu
A4: Life may not be fair and equitable, but every child deserves a fair and equal chance at the future. While future endeavors/circumstances may not go their way, my mission is to make sure each of my students is armed with every tool possible to tackle their future. #MTedchat
A5) I taught a lesson on the "sublime" to some seniors who were reading "Frankenstein". I had a reading, writing, and then drawing element within the lesson. Each Ss understood the concept better but from participating in a different aspect of the lesson. #MTedchat
A5: Its important to design your curriculum to ALL learners... Some students learn best by doing and others learn best by listening etc. Incorporating these different needs into the environment of your classroom and in your curriculum is essential for ALL learners. #MTedchat
A5 involving means hands on experiences, lots of opportunities for problem solving and discussion, productive failure and the chance to discuss mistakes #mtedchat
Q5: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Thinking about these words, how does curriculum design and/or environment matter? #MTedchat
A5: This quote reminds me of classrooms full of group work and S collaboration. Ss are always so excited to work with one another, and always have so much more to contribute to one another than I have to contribute to them. #mtedchat
A5: Curriculum should be designed to get students involved in learning everyday. The learning process should not just be about the handing over of facts and information, but also the process of discovering the knowledge. #MTedchat
A%: Yes. But when it really matters is when it's not working. Meet them where they're at. Get the victory. Grow the motivation. Get permission later. Not that you should all do this. Pre-service T's don't let me get you in trouble. #mtedchat
A5- This reminds me of Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. There are so many ways to engage students, the trick is finding what works for them, not necessarily what works for us. #mtedchat
A4: One of my grandmas was only able to attend school until the 8th grade because of family circumstances. As a child, I remember her constantly reading, learning, & sharing it with others. Learning doesn't only happen in school. If you want it, it is always there. #MTedchat
A5) Hey, didn't someone mention this earlier? If you involve Ss in education by letting them make choices and guide their learning (ex-goal setting), then they are more invested in what and how they learn. #mtedchat

A5 Any opportunity that allows students to "do" their learning while invoking multiple learning modalities; sketchnoting, gaming, Genius Hour... all of these work because student end up using more than one strategy to deliver information to their brains. #mtedchat
A3: It makes me think of all the times I've learned more about what I've learned in the University versus the experience of being in a classroom. We learn many methods of how Ss learn but it's completely different in practice. #MTedchat
A5: A great curriculum will effectively employ student voice and choice. Creating student buy-in makes it exponentially more likely that the learning will endure. #MTedchat
A5 The more opportunities we give our Ss to be part of planning & learning process the more they will get A curriculum should generate questions, not multiple choice answers, from our Ss #mtedchat
A5 Learning about UDL lesson plans in one of my classes, I love giving students as many opportunities as possible to take charge of their own learning. Giving options, putting students in control makes them so much more likely to engage! #MTedchat
A5: As a literacy specialist, I learned that reading is a conversation between the reader and the author... Interaction... Active learning. If we can't apply learning to real life, why bother. If curriculum doesn't engage, adjust curriculum. Meet standards creatively #mtedchat
Q5: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Thinking about these words, how does curriculum design and/or environment matter? #MTedchat
I see. Certainly an issue under NCLB. Under the new federal law, states should be moving away from the narrow focus on low performers. Jury is still out, though. #MTedchat
A5: Collaboration! I can’t believe the amount of excitement I have noticed from Ss who are given the opportunity to be involved. Collaboration is a life long skill which relates to one of the previous quotes. Ss and Ts will learn with involvement from both sides #MTedchat
Q5: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” Thinking about these words, how does curriculum design and/or environment matter? #MTedchat
Heading out early. Before I go, new teachers: you *must* follow @sarahlalondee and check out her podcast all about pre-service teaching! Have a great night, all! #MTedchat
Q6: “The function of education is to teach one to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal…” How should/could this frame how we teach? #MTedchat
A5: Curriculum design matters because if students are only being told information they rarely remember it. The experience and involvement of students in their own learning is key. I'm really big on science and math labs because that's when I see the most learning. #MTedchat
To all the future educators joining #mtedchat tonight. Thank you for your insight and helping me remember where I was 12 years ago. Keep inspiring and make sure to follow a few peeps!
A2: I deeply relate to this. I may not recall the exact dates of all the history events I’ve learned, but I can recall the general story, & how it made me feel. Also I remember those teachers that brought these stories to life, students remember how we make them feel #MTedchat
Q2: “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what on has learned in school.” With this thought, what are the Implications for how we teach? #MTedchat
