    A1: I introduce it as a special grade level activity. I have a set of 50, but I strongly recommend Ss buy their own. #elmused

    A1 My PTO bought the original set . I sell the ones the kids use at the end of the year to them for the summer and buy new ones. #elmused

    #elmused My students always buy their own recorders. I have a stash of school recorders I lend out during class time for those that don't.

    A1 I talked them up big time to the kids. I used $ from Music Boosters to buy them. If kids want theirs they'll give me $5 #elmused

    A1: 3rd graders are easy to sell on them! I do recorder karate with "belts." It motivates most. #elmused

    #elmused The first interruption, they lose the instrument for 5 minutes, the 2nd-they lose it for the remainder of class.

    A3: 4th Grade volunteer recess Alto Recorders. In school practice only. Usually play on 4th grade concert #elmused

    A4: Class management is a bit ugly. Ss waiting to "test" while others practice. It's why I'm excited to try flipping this year. #elmused

    A7 I LOVE the PRECORDERS from Suzuki for 2nd and 3rd because of the raised holes. Ss can feel the holes. It is easy to clean also. #elmused
