I'm not able to do the Twitter or #idedchat like I want to. I'm at a school board meeting. But my SPED Dir just impromptu #chromecast ed her report tonight like a boss! That's some awesome #edtech right there! #soproud #ksdedtech 😀👍👊👏🙌👀

I am presenting on Social Media in Education. A practice round before my "final conversation" in August over my Dissertation on the same topic. #idedchat

We looked at the impact social media has on education in regards to student achievement. We took a baseline survey on how students utilized it, provided PD to teachers, and monitored them throughout the year. #idedchat

Yes and no. Yes because it is used more in the classrooms than what we thought. No, because it proved that when Ss have a method in which they enjoy learning (social media) their grades and engagement increase in the classroom. #idedchat
