Ss in grds 7-12 are 1:1 and allowed to take chromebooks home. Other grades just using in classrooms.

Use the browser from early on so Ss have a good sense of it prior to 1:1.
Access to wifi a concern so provide options for offline work on chromebook
Ss don't feel the devices are a distraction. Using it as needed in class. Need to treat Ss use of tech same way Ts use tech.

Mashpee charges Ss a $20 maintenance fee per year for 1:1 CB program. That covers 1st damage/break
attending today and now planning at Cape Cod Academy on September 30th.
