#TeacherFriends Q1: What is something that you are THANKFUL for about your work, classroom, profession, class, school et. al.
Let's flood the thread with happy.
We lost my father in law last month. I am most thankful for the year we had together as we cared for him. It was a blessing. One that made us stronger as a family. #teacherfriends
I am thankful for my entire school. From battles with cancer, deaths of children or spouses, children with problems or students who just push our buttons, no one judges, everyone listens and helps. #family#TeacherFriends

A2
Also thankful for a student I taught 2 years ago and her brother for donating their old books to my new class's book exchange. I moved schools this year. Their mom drove all this down to me from an hour away!

#TeacherFriends Top of my list of thankfulness? Someone very close to me got wonderful news in her latest tests. No cancer! So thankful for more time with her.
Yes, they are! It is going to be a hard holiday season but we shall overcome. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it gives us a chance to reflect. #teacherfriends

A1 #TeacherFriends -I am thankful for my co-workers they are like family. We can’t choose who we work with but we show up each day and get busy with the important work set before us. I am particularly grateful for all my colleagues that I work with in my school and my district.
#TeacherFriends Last Friday, I had at least 16 parents/grandparents at our Fall Party along with my 19 students. So thankful for their help, and thankful for @Seesaw and all the doors and windows it has opened.
My family! They are my everything. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful husband who dedicates himself to family. And a crazy fun son who makes us laugh. #teacherfriends
#TeacherFriends Health is always at the top of my list. As a cancer survivor, having watched my daughter being so seriously ill. EVERY day of health is THE blessing!
I'm thankful that each day I get to do what I love. If I can make a difference for one child sitting in my classroom or a former student, then, I have succeeded. #teacherfriends
A3) I am very thankful for all the amazing resources we have available now. Pinterest, TPT, bloggers, it is such a blessing and makes our community so much bigger! #teacherfriends
.... and to be just a 'click' away!
How did we manage previously? #TeacherFriends live in our screens too.
You guys have carried me through soooooo much! Thank you.
#TeacherFriends Social networking with likeminded teachers validates what we know to be true: We are on the right path to helping our students achieve all they can be.
A3. Howdy #teacherfriends ~ I am thankful for our ukulele lab, a place where our learners can come and play their troubles away. Such a magical little #growthmindset instrument.

My teammates and I started running together a couple years ago, we have run 4 half marathons together and more 5Ks than I can remember. They are such a blessing and we can solve any problem at the track. #teacherfriends

A4: My counseling mentor was Sally, whose son @thadroher is now our Superintendent. Sally was pure JOY; she set the connections bar high and I miss her every day. In kind of a providential twist, I'm finishing my career in her old job. #teacherfriends
A4 my mentors were the kindergarten teachers when I started in 1st. They never got sick of my questions and were always ready with a suggestion or idea. #teacherfriends
A4 Loretta Mitchell has been and always will be my mentor. I student taught in her classroom 26 years ago!! The epitome of professionalism! #teacherfriends
A4- my twitter mentor must be Kristen Poindexter @fuzzlady77 for getting me started on it. My teaching mentor woukd be Mrs. Linda Parker my HS science teacher and Katherine Smutzer who taught next to me my first 5 years of teaching. #teacherfriends

A4b) My Twitter mentor has been @drdavidwicks who showed me how to create an account and maybe @NVradenburg who invited me to my 1st Twitter chat?!! IDK! #teacherfriends
A5: We have made these notes available to our staff, to complete for one another, telling each other why they are a gift. Here's one I treasure, that Sally wrote to me years ago. #teacherfriends
