#TLAP A7. We did an Ocar themed pd with Oscar awards and certificated custumed for each teacher. Red carpet and theme music provided. My kids were so excited decorating the room and voted for the certificates that each teacher received.
Our 3rd graders use Recorder Karate to learn a new instrument. This year Ss have finished level 1, level 2, and I had to add a level 3 to accommodate their hard work! I share their success with classes, Ts, families, and next year’s music teachers. #tlap

A7: EOY is a time to reflect & celebrate the accomplishments from the year! It’s amazing to see the growth & to remember experiences had together! I do a video slide slow that highlights the whole year! We also do a balloon countdown w/ fun activities for last 10 days! #tlap

A7: I try to celebrate students and staff as often as possible. In my weekly newsletters to parents, on morning announcements, on the TVs in the hallways, at pep rallies, awards nights, faculty meetings. Looking forward to end of year honors coming up! #tlap

#TLAP A7. We did an Ocar themed pd with Oscar awards and certificated custumed for each teacher. Red carpet and theme music provided. My kids were so excited decorating the room and voted for the certificates that each teacher received.

A7: Each month we celebrate staff & Ss that go above and beyond our mission statement. 4 Ss receive a medal and staff 'champion' gets the belt. Our P might just be a wrestling nut. #tlap

A7: I frequently let my students know I’m proud of them. At the end of the year students write positive adjectives about their classmates. My teacher did this when I was in 5th grade and I still have it! Great memory to look back on! #tlap

A8: good question...right now it would be something like "Let's Do This!" A book about doing everything we can to create an AMAZING school. It would be for everyone because we need everyone and there are no excuses - the only option is "Let's Do This!" #tlap
A8: I started writing a book at one point. The focus was on getting Ss to dig deeper in a digital age. Title was "Defeating the Surface Dwellers" #tlap
A7: Sch goals should be shared but we must motivate the shareholders. We have about 130 Ss we aspired to raise 80k in a 1 day event. Lunch time was catered, carnival games w/prizes and jump castles. Builds community. #tlap@Hopetechschool
