Q1: What social media channels do you use the most?
Yes the was definitely a great conversation!
A1: Twitter only due to finding news and information that is short and to the point

My kids love to get on and write about lots of topics. Use for HW, too

I love Kidblog too. I recently discovered Write About! Its awesome!
A3: Twitter allows for the ability to expand one's PLC beyond the district and allows for meeting others with similar interests.

I always advocate for balance of posts...I never want SM to become the assignment notebook.

I haven't entirely figured that out yet, but the "story" concept in spinning in my brain.

I know how snapchat works, I just don't know why anyone would need to instant delete a pic.
We need to engage with individuals in the spaces. We drop bc of lack of engagement.
Showing ways it can benefit them, following up, promoting and praising the effort!

I encourage Ts to find the # relevant to them and follow from there.
I also email Ts specific tweets relevant to them. That intrigues people enough to join.

From our book study our 3rd grade teachers were looking for a grade level chat. None were happening. There is now! We started it.

I had Social Media interns post ALL social media posts for my school, and their voice changed our culture!
