Q2: I start by having partners create 5 norms, they share, and we choose the most common ones to adopt for our class.
A2: We set goals as well. Goal setting is extremely important in my classroom. Always keep the end in mind even at 7 years old.

A2 I did somethn diff this yr, had Ss create a persnal learning plan & goals, I reviewed, we discussd

I think that is four too many zeros

when Katrina and I go out we do it right
Sadly have to sign out _ family stuff! I'll read the rest tomorrow
A2 allow the kids the practice what you are creating in multiple ways.

A3 We start back on the 9/6. I love culture boxes and family histories. It allows for the forming of bonds and relationships.

we had such a great time that nite
A3 Students make short videos showing examples and non examples of norms created for class/school to share!
We have to model that we are learners first for sure!
A3: every school I've worked at has had some kind of freshman camp led by a S group. S leaders set the tone for all S behavior
We try to set both a SMART goal to achieve, & we also talk abt art of fulfillment & try to identify a fulfill. goal too
Need to continue to have the conversation through the year
