A student attends our schools 182 days and stays home 183 days. I think it is pretty obvious with those numbers why it's important that home and school are important to work together for the long term success of children #wearewayne
  • Erwin13Alicia Feb 5 @ 8:09 PM EST
A1: We must create a team mindset where all perspectives as opinions are heard and considered when making educational decisions that impact our scholars. Parents/guardians offer great insight, plus — they are likely the scholar’s number one supporter! #WeAreWayne
  • SLPaly Feb 5 @ 8:09 PM EST
Alyssa White, SLP at Ben Davis NGC A1: You get what you give. Give parents respect and a voice in goal-setting for their children and they're more likely to listen to your's as well. They're with their kids forever, we have them for a few months! #wearewayne

It's amazing to see classroom pictures and samples of work published thru social media, otherwise much of what we do in a school day stays incognito. Keep showing our parents what you do. They love it #wearewayne

A4: the communication piece and social media in today’s world allow parents to have access to their child’s learning and support almost instantaneously! #WeAreWayne
