@StevensThia I didn't either, but I'm taking a social networking class at BSU and this is one of our assignments: connecting with other educators. #satchatwc
I didn't see a topic, so I just started asking questions. I've never been able to get inclusion to work. My attempts have resulted in me going into the class and functioning as a technician. Has anyone had any great experiences with inclusion? #satchatwc#sped
@stevensThia I am a middle school science teacher and I have a lot of special education students in my room daily. Usually by myself. What are you looking for exactly? #satchatwc
I hear of teachers collaborating and co-teaching with SpEd teachers, and I've never been able to get that to work. I'm looking for success stories of those that have done this, and what they've done to make it work for them. #satchatwc
a couple years ago I had a special education teacher in my room daily when I had those students in my science classes. She would listen to my presentations, help students with in class work and then she had them for a study skill period as well. #satchatwc@stevensthia
@SusanBi23696508 I'm not sure yet, I've got a lot going on on my computer right now. second webinar of the morning plus twitter... I've had the same frustrations as you with the chats. #satchatwc
@stevensthia The special education teacher that was in my classroom would adapt the material that I was giving to a level that they could complete hoping to slowly bring them up to level. #satchatwc
@StevensThia and @Nate I have to adapt or modify the curriculum myself. However, I do talk with their case manager to find out what level I need to modify it for.
