Hello #UTedChat! My name is Madasyn and I am a student at the U studying Elementary Ed. I didn't get to attend #UCET18 last week, but I have heard great things!
I am Michelle Cook, pre-service secondary science. I love plants and horticulture. Yes I attended on Thursday. Loved the google classroom class. #utedchat
Hi all - Krystal from granite checking in. I attended #UCET18 but was sick, so it’s a bit of a blur 😷🤧 so glad i got to meet up with so many of you!! #UTedChat
Hi there! I’m Dani Sloan - Welcome to @UUtah students and future teachers from my #EdPs3140 class! They’re joining #utedchat tonight! Yes, I was definitely at #ucet18!
This is Tabitha checking in for #utedchat and you better believe I was at #UCET18 I ran into several neighbors and past co-workers and made new connections
Hi, my name is Jaileen and I’m a student at the U majoring in elementary education, I’m a sophomore. And I wasn’t able to attend last week either but I wish I had! #UTedChat
Q1 We live in an age where we can talk with each other over the Internet via Twitter, video calling, texting, etc. Is it still even important to physically attend conferences? #UTedChat
A1: I believe it is important to attend physical conferences. This is where you get to truly interact with others and truly get to know someone. #utedchat
A1: absolutely!! There’s so much more excitement when you’re there in person! Plus you get to connect with all the people you’ve “known” but never really met. And you get to be jealous of @YoungUTed fabulous wardrobe! #UTedChat
A1: As amazing as it is to engage in discussions like this on Twitter I still think it's important to attend conferences because you can have a little deeper discussion and make connections not only online, but in person. #utedchat
A1 - Without a doubt. You are able to make more connections, put faces to names, learn things hands on, figure out solutions, and generally get into the thick of it. I love going to conferences because it opens doors to new ideas and future projects. #edtrex#utedchat
A1 Face-to-face interactions are crucial! I love my online PLN, but there is something great about having the chance to interact on a more personal level. #utedchat
#utedchat
A1: Yes, it is important because humans are social creatures and we can learn a lot from interacting with each other, face to face. The potential connections that can be made are also very important.
A1: Absolutely! Getting out of your element primes you for moments of insight. It also helps us get away from distractions and dive into learning. #utedchat
A1 Yes it is important to meet at conferences, because you don't drop stuff on your face there most of the time. Really though, for me nothing beats talking in person to really connect once in a while. There is value in both. #utedchat
A1: Attending conferences in person is still important! The assets technology provides is amazing, but human interaction and building relationships in person are important.
#UTedChat
A1 I think that it's still important to physically meet and build relationships with others. Technology is convenient, but I would much rather have one-on-one interaction with people as it demands more attention and communication. #utedchat
A1: Yes, because conferences aren't just about content, they're about connection and getting out of your zone. You need to step away from your every day and see new people, hear new things and be in new places. #UTedchat
Q1 We live in an age where we can talk with each other over the Internet via Twitter, video calling, texting, etc. Is it still even important to physically attend conferences? #UTedChat
A1: Attending conferences in person is still important! The assets technology provides is amazing, but human interaction and building relationships in person is important.
#UTedChat
A1: also some of the best networking and connections that happen are impromptu, like our #tweetupmeetup on Friday. You miss those things when you’re not there! #UTedChat
A1: While I love texting and staying in contact via social media (just please don’t call me on the phone) - conferences, in person presentations, discussions, and networking are irreplaceable! #utedchat
Oh yeah! Check this podcast out! We had a great time with @mrnesi and @GingerLewman making these episodes and the breakdown episodes are coming later this week! #edtrex#utedchat#podcasting
Q1 We live in an age where we can talk with each other over the Internet via Twitter, video calling, texting, etc. Is it still even important to physically attend conferences? #UTedChat
A1: There’s nothing better than a personal connection. Social can help when we are apart, but nothing’s better than when you put teachers together in person. #utedchat
A1: I think it’s important to still attend physical conferences because then you can truly see how teachers, students, and parents act. I think everyone acts differently on the internet than in real life #utedchat
#utedchat A1- heck ya! I loved the first keynote— but because it was via Skype I noticed a lot of side chatter that wouldn’t happen during a live session. Also- there is something so energizing about so many passionate people in one place! That can’t be replicated online.
A1: Meeting at conferences is SO important. It's like the final piece of a puzzle. All those other pieces that fit together so nicely are great, but you never have that full picture and satisfaction without that final, most important piece. #UTedChat
Wow, sometimes Technology is amazing! I am just now getting logged onto my computer and ya'll have been going with #UTedChat for 11 mins already! That's what happens when we work w/ rural Utah. Thanks @berylgirl for being my partner today at Big Water! #sedck12#kanek12
A1: I love the digital learning I experience but there is something so exciting about connecting in person. It’s all about #BlendedLearning for adults, right?! Learn digitally when that is the right tool but don’t underestimate the power of face to face learning. #utedchat
Q1 We live in an age where we can talk with each other over the Internet via Twitter, video calling, texting, etc. Is it still even important to physically attend conferences? #UTedChat
A1: It's definitely still important to attend physically conferences because then you get to understand others teachings in person. You can also bounce off ideas with others better in physical conferences! #utedchat
Thank you! We are one of the only education based nominees, super appreciate the shout out! These folks I work with are amazing! @irick@UTEdhauck@edtechTC#utedchat

@lars3eb, @irick, @UTEdhauck, @edtechTC
A1 For sure, the networking is great, plus I love meeting people that I work with online. Met a teacher from one of my online classes! @kenneth_wayman#UTedChat

Q1 We live in an age where we can talk with each other over the Internet via Twitter, video calling, texting, etc. Is it still even important to physically attend conferences? #UTedChat
Q2 For those who were able to attend #UCET18, what was your favorite session? If you didn’t attend #UCET18, where is your favorite place you can physically go to learn from others? #UTedChat
A1: I definitely think that being there in person gives more opportunities and perspectives to the meeting than just over the internet. The personal connection is so important and that is something we lose when we are just conversing online. #UTedChat
A1 I think more educators should attend industry conferences or content or subject conferences #utedchat an example if I teach marketing should go to #adobesummit
I guess I should officially introduce myself, I'm Derek, the #EdTech Dir at @sedck12 and I LOVED being at #UCET18 this year. It was LOTS of work, but so much fun! #UTedChat
A1- I love conferences! It exemplifies what is possible when teachers are given time to engage outside of their classroom! So much enthusiasm, I learned something new in each session @ucet#ucet18#UTedChat
A1: Yes! As much as these forms of communication help to reach people around the world, it’s important to have certain conversations in person! Like when giving an important presentation where feedback is needed. #utedchat
Sorry I am late to the conversation! I am a future educator and couldn't be more excited! Shout out to @covili for being an awesome instructor. #utedchat
A2: My favorite place I can physically learn from others is currently my classrooms and conferences! I was able to attend one three weeks ago and met awesome classmates and teachers! #utedchat
Q2: The best places for me to learn from others are wherever a person's "natural habitat" is. Observing a teacher in their classroom is a great tool for me to use because I can see in real time how different tools and techniques work. #UTedChat
I do believe it is still important to connect in person with other educators! By attending conferences in person, you are able to further friendships with colleagues you’ve met online. #utedchat#edps3140
A1: Yes! As much as these forms of communication help to reach people around the world, it’s important to have certain conversations in person! Like when giving an important presentation where feedback is needed. #utedchat
A2: I really enjoyed @CoryHenwood spotlight session. It’s awesome to see the amazing things educators are doing right here in Utah! Plus, he connected Girl Scout cookies to math! That’s what I call Winning! #UTedChat
A2: I loved listening to all of the sessions that were in the ballroom—especially the keynote on Friday! And of course I have to give a shoutout to @hjones3000 & @PickensAlison for their session where we geeked out over google! #utedchat
Q2 For those who were able to attend #UCET18, what was your favorite session? If you didn’t attend #UCET18, where is your favorite place you can physically go to learn from others? #UTedChat
A2: The best places for me to learn from others are wherever a person's "natural habitat" is. Observing a teacher in their classroom is a great tool for me to use because I can see in real time how different tools and techniques work. #UTedChat
A2: honestly my favorite part of #ucet18 was the #utedchat meetup. To be among familiar people and celebrate the community and share highlights and resources SO GOOD.
Q2 For those who were able to attend #UCET18, what was your favorite session? If you didn’t attend #UCET18, where is your favorite place you can physically go to learn from others? #UTedChat
Q2 - @GingerLewman session on entrepreneurship was awesome for all the practical ideas and @mrnesi sessions on #podcasting and #socialmedia were great as well. I just enjoyed the whole atmosphere and I cannot wait to bring my school next year. #utedchat#edtrex
A2: As a future teacher, my favorite place to learn is in the classrooms of current teachers. There is so much to learn from observing different styles. #utedchat
A 2: I wasn't able to attend UCET, but I think one of my favorite places to learn from others is at different classes that I'm currently in at the University of Utah when we have discussions and people bounce ideas off of each other. #utedchat
A2: SO MANY CHOICES... but I have to go with @CoryHenwood Spotlight session on Empowerment. Loved it!!! (Still dreaming about Girl Scout cookies though...) #UTedChat
Currently, my favorite place where I can physically go to learn from others... is school! Go Utes! I learn from my peers and especially my teachers every single day... whether I'm in class or not. #utedchat
Q2 For those who were able to attend #UCET18, what was your favorite session? If you didn’t attend #UCET18, where is your favorite place you can physically go to learn from others? #UTedChat
A2: my favorite place to go to learn from others is the U. I love hearing about people’s experiences in different classrooms and I also love hearing my professors lectures. #utedchat
Welcome to #UTedChat Madasyn. So glad you were able to join us tonight. Hopefully you'll be able to make it to #UCET19 next year so you can experience it yourself.
A2 Even though I was able to attend UCET I love learning at the Library (how’s that for old school). Other favorite learning places - Home Depot, Flea Markets, and my neighbor’s garage. #utedchat
Hi everyone, name is Flor Pérez! I am a special education major at @UUtah. I unfortunately couldn’t make it to #ucet18 but I did hear great things about it. #utedchat#edps3140
A2: I have a giveaway going from my @Flipgrid session. Enter tonight if you didn’t have a chance (i think many folks were excited to get home and didn’t come over to the playground) https://t.co/CtfT7pB91q#UTedChat
A2: The best places for me to learn from others are wherever a person's "natural habitat" is. Observing a teacher in their classroom is a great tool for me to use because I can see in real time how different tools and techniques work. #UTedChat
Heck yes you were at #UCET18 last week! You were kind of the king of the ball! Winning Young Educator of the Year, getting elected to the @UCET Board, being at the #UTedChat Tweet Up. You were everywhere!
Q2 #edps3140#utedchat
I liked the google classroom. Lots of great questions from teachers who use it. Good instruction for a newbie and experienced. Learned lots of ways to organize fun content.
#UTedChat A2: although, I didn't go to ucet. I'd definitely say conferences are the best way to learn from other. I feel like hearing firsthand experiences from keynote speakers is a must for me. I need to see or hear application strategies.
A2: It's so hard to pick a favorite! I always love the Ignite sessions! #UTedChat I really wish I could clone myself for the day and attend all of the sessions.
Q2: I like to go to the elementary school that I work at to learn in person! There's nothing like observing from teachers and students in action #UTedChat
I’m still talking about this task at the office... @Joleighhoney@disudds can vouch for me on discussing this task and how well it highlighted engagement. #utedchat
In reply to
@missplott, @CoryHenwood, @Joleighhoney, @disudds
A2: My favorite place to learn is in schools observing the teachers on my team each week. I learn more every Tuesday than I can from any podcast, video, or conference. #utedchat
A2 I can't pick a favorite. I loved so many, including the #UTEdChat meetup, the Friday keynote, ignite sessions... So great to learn from and meet such amazing people.
A2: My favorite place to learn about others is in my education classes. There are so many people that come from different backgrounds and walks of life. There are also people of different age groups so I get to learn even more about people! #utedchat#edps3140
Q2. Recently for one of my child development classes I had to observe a classroom of students. The experience helped me apply the concepts we learned in class to real life. I think we can learn a lot from actual experience. #utedchat
Q2 For those who were able to attend #UCET18, what was your favorite session? If you didn’t attend #UCET18, where is your favorite place you can physically go to learn from others? #UTedChat
A2: the library! I love going to my local library and reading new books, especially about unfamiliar topics. I also love having discussions with peers in class! #utedchat
I agree!! That was definitely one of the highlights for me. I think I was a bit overly enthusiastic in meeting all of you... 😜 Just call me a crazy fan! It was fun meeting all of you! #utedchat
It was so great to finally meet you in person Krystal! So sorry about the elections, but I'm pretty sure we can still put you to work, if you're interested! #UTedChat#UCET19
A2 My favorite session was @jedikermit on educational toys but it was an amazing feeling to have so many come to my session on Google Classroom for Elementary https://t.co/vKD6H3OJlM#UTedChat plus my students visited for a brief GHangout they are my vision of the future
Q2 My favorite was the Google Smackdown, the winner had his students in the video, I didn't get to see any of the student presentations at the Union, but loved seeing them present at the playground. I love to learn form students in the classroom! #UTedChat
100%! I literally walked by @mrnesi session and walked in because everyone was cheering and laughing. It was amazing to see such unabashed glee from teachers. I also loved the deep tech sessions by @ucdavis#utedchat

Q3 We held a physical Tweet-up Meet-up for #UTedChat while at #UCET18 & it was awesome to meet our #PLN IRL. Why is it important to build a #PLN and is it important to meet them #F2F?
My favorite place to physically go to to learn from others is in the classroom! I feel like Iike hands-on learning through through fieldwork has benefited me a lot. #UTedChat#edps3140
A2: How to support that teacher by @mrnesi A great discussion facilitator. So many ideas of how to support both teachers that are excited to innovate and those that are hesitant. #utedchat
A2: How to support that teacher by @mrnesi A great discussion facilitator. So many ideas of how to support both teachers that are excited to innovate and those that are hesitant. #utedchat
I just realized I forgot to introduce myself. Hi my name is Hannah and I'm a freshman at the University of Utah. I'm planning to major in elementary education! #utedchat
It's really sad when you're behind in the chat and you're in charge! Oh well, that's why I use TweetDeck to keep everything scheduled and running smoothly, even though I'm not! #UTedChat
It's important to build a #PLN because this how you share, create and build off ideas from others. I don't think its necessary to meet them f2f, because you could still skype with them. What if they live over seas, unless someone pays for my ticket I WILL #utedchat#edps3140
A3 - Both. To keep up with information and share in real time with a large audience it is important to have a digital network, but I don't know where I would be with a few selection people in my physical life (other teachers, friends, co-conspirators) to talk to daily. #utedchat
I just realized I forgot to introduce myself. Hi my name is Hannah and I'm a freshman at the University of Utah. I'm planning to major in elementary education! #utedchat
A3: Building a #PLN allows you to engage with other educators and professionals regardless of where they are- and that means you can draw from from experiences to use in your class! Meeting #F2F solidifies that relationship and allows for deeper conversations.
#UTedChat
A3 The tweet up - meet up reminds us that while we can stay in touch online, there’s nothing like the connection we have in person. Good lesson for all the relationships in our lives. It’s ok to use the phone @DaniKSloan#UTedChat
A3: It's important to build a PLN so that you can share common facts and communicate with other teachers on what they are doing in their classrooms. I think adding a face to the conversation is always important #utedchat
A3: My PLN helps me to always be improving and growing as an educator! Some of your PLN might be only in person... some only online... I don’t think it’s necessary to meet IRL, but it’s sure fun! #utedchat
A3: PLNs can be an excellent resource for you as a teacher! Your PLN knows exactly what you go through day to day. You can bounce ideas, learn new strategies and borrow lessons from them. Meeting your PLN in real life will strengthen your relationship even further. #utedchat
A3 a #PLN is important for ideas, inspiration, motivation, and maintaining sanity! Meeting them F2F furthers connections and really allows for those elements to better develop. #utedchat
A3: Building a #PLN is important because educators should be constantly learning from each other and collaborating with one another in order to be great teachers. Yes, it's important to meet #F2F if it's possible.
#utedchat
A1 As if you couldn't tell, I LOVE having the #F2F connections whenever possible. I love the online stuff, but getting in and having some good convos in-person is amazing! #UTedChat
A3: A PLN is so beneficial for being able to express ideas and concerns and help others along the way. There is definitely something to be said about how beneficial it is to have more than one mind on a single topic! You can't have enough ideas! #utedchat
A3: PLN's let us see through walls. Knowing that you share the same struggles and passions builds you up personally and professionally. F2F depeens the connection. We're all in it together. #utedchat
Q3 We held a physical Tweet-up Meet-up for #UTedChat while at #UCET18 & it was awesome to meet our #PLN IRL. Why is it important to build a #PLN and is it important to meet them #F2F?
Q3 We held a physical Tweet-up Meet-up for #UTedChat while at #UCET18 & it was awesome to meet our #PLN IRL. Why is it important to build a #PLN and is it important to meet them #F2F?
A3: Having a #PLN is like a #PLC on steroids. I hear ideas and learn from people all over the state. It doesn’t make sense to work in a silo in 2018. #utedchat
A3: PLNs can be an excellent resource for you as a teacher! Your PLN knows exactly what you go through day to day. You can bounce ideas, learn new strategies and borrow lessons from them. Meeting your PLN in real life will strengthen your relationship even further. #utedchat
A3: Build a PLN to break down walls of isolation...learn things from those outside of your buildings and experiences. Meet them #f2f because they have become my edu-heroes and I hunger for an in person connection. #utedchat
Q3 We held a physical Tweet-up Meet-up for #UTedChat while at #UCET18 & it was awesome to meet our #PLN IRL. Why is it important to build a #PLN and is it important to meet them #F2F?
A3 The Tweet-up Meet-up was one of my favorite parts of #UCET18. Getting to meet the people I've been chatting with helps me put names and faces together...helps me build relationships. I feel more comfortable reaching out to someone I've met IRL. #utedchat
It is important to build a PLN because the more ideas, the better! Yes, I think it would be amazing to meet the people involved! I would imagine a PLN builds very strong, meaningful relationships! #utedchat
A3 face to face is important because you get sincere interactions with each other. It’s easy to understand what’s really going on in the atmosphere. #utedchat
A3: Within a school, I feel like special educators are typically outnumbered by general educators. This is why I believe that building a #PLN for those in special education is extremely helpful. #utedchat#edps3140
Did you not get an email invitation about #UCET18 this year? I thought we sent those out to all of our #uted policy makers. If not, I apologize and will make sure you hear about it for #UCET19 next year! #UTedChat
A3: Being part of a #PLN has made me feel supported and empowered. It's even better when you live out in rural Utah because it really gives us the opportunity to expand our horizons. F2F is nice, but not required.#utedchat
A3: It's so important to have PLNs so you can network and have support. By meeting them face to face you can have even more effective support! #utedchat
A3: I think PLN is important because you can more ideas and inputs. I also think F2F is great because then you get to strengthen the relationship even further! #utedchat#edps3140
A3: Sometimes, it's easy to forget there's a whole world of other teachers out there. It's important to have that #PLN to help remember that you aren't the only one. #UTedChat
I absolutely agree! I listened to a podcast recently about the difference between being a connector and being connected. Like in all things, the true value comes from the relationships fostered. We are #bettertogether. #utedchat
Q3 We held a physical Tweet-up Meet-up for #UTedChat while at #UCET18 & it was awesome to meet our #PLN IRL. Why is it important to build a #PLN and is it important to meet them #F2F?
A3: It's important to have a PLN because than you create a stronger and more supportive with the educators you work with in the group. Getting to work F2F is also beneficial for creating a stronger community in the group. #utedchat#edps3140
A3: having a PLN really can be beneficial in finding out new ways to do teach your students. Everyone does things differently, and it is good to change up your teaching style every once in a while. #UTedChat
A4: #edps3140#utedchat
One thing I would change is the time, when conversation are exciting and engaging time always runs out! We need more time... and coffee!
A3: It's important to have a PLN because than you create a stronger and more supportive bond with the educators you work with in the group. Getting to work F2F also helps for working with others on ideas. #utedchat#edps3140
A4: I really didn’t like the changes this year. Less sessions (3 daily instead of 4) and less class offerings. And I’ve said before that i don’t like the location. It wasn’t fun going back and forth in the rain (and i was whiny because i was sick) #UTedChat
A3: Sometimes, it's easy to forget there's a whole world of other teachers out there. It's important to have that #PLN to help remember that you aren't the only one. #UTedChat
It’s kind of like being able to have the opportunity to fly, we are given a set of wings at #UCET18#YOUcet#utedchat and I always find something to bring back to my classroom, but for a brief moment I fly!
A2 My Fav session was the Podcast Bootcamp by the one and only @MrNesi! I was so honored he was able to make it out and also became part of the #UCET18 tribe. If you missed it, you'll need to check his links, so awesome! #UTedChat
A4: I didn't attend #ucet18 so I have no comment about that but I prefer conferences that have hands-on components. It's how I learn best! I've attended other conferences that just had a lot of speakers.
#utedchat
A4: The worst part was doing subplans for #UCET18. I don't know how to change that though. I loved the venue. I wish I had cloned myself and went to more. #utedchat
I can't think of anything to change; just keep adding more sessions and keep the engaging speakers. It was great to see so many people walking around and totally engaged the whole two days. It was one of my fav PDs in Utah. #edtrex#utedchat
A4: I don't think I would change anything about my fav learning location. Observing a teacher teach in their natural environment teaches me most about teaching effectively! #teach#UTedChat
A4: I think that better communication between myself and other teachers could improve things. We all have a lot to share and learn from each other #UTedChat
#UTedChat A4: when it comes to conferences good free food is always a plus. But, keeping things short and concise is a must. I hate those all day meetings..
I had a blast coming to Utah for the first time. I knew I had to make the effort to get from NJ despite the weather. #UTedchat

A4: this isn’t a request to change, but a request to keep: I ❤️ the sessions of different lengths. Some were 1 hour, some 20 minutes, the variety of options kept me engaged for 2 straight days. Keep the varied session lengths! #utedchat
#utedchat
A.4 That is true the 22 was very boring for me, because their videos wasn't working. I learned how to make canvas for my students. I wont try change anythings, because we can't be perfect .
A4: One thing that I would change about my favorite learning location (the classroom) would to just have productive discussion all the time, not just occasionally. So more hands on. #utedchat
A4: I wish I could attend #UCET18 in parallel universes. One where I can attend sessions, one where I can hang out in the playground, one where I can network, and one where I can just get stickers from vendors. #utedchat
In fact, hanging with @MrNesi before, during, and after #UCET18 was my fav part of the conference for me this year! So much fun, even with all the chop busting! #UTedChat#HouseOfEdTech#PodcastPD
A4:
Part should be about teachers advocating for technology in there building. There is inequitable access across schools since it is often based on admin priority. I would love to see session designed to help teachers assess the tech and access in their own buildings
#utedchat
A4 I don’t have a change to make, but the biggest change I’ve seen at UCET over the years is how many more people are involved now. It’s really becoming a big tent. Truthfully, it always was a big tent, but now we’re starting to fill it up. #utedchat
A4 I would have loved more time to meet with some of the people from my PLN. I made some connections, but I would have liked to have deeper conversations. #utedchat
In fact, hanging with @MrNesi before, during, and after #UCET18 was my fav part of the conference for me this year! So much fun, even with all the chop busting! #UTedChat#HouseOfEdTech#PodcastPD
A3 Building a #PLN is so important because it allows you to find your own tribe of people to keep you going when the going gets tough. Education isn't an easy field but it's worth it. Having a #PLN helps when life gets tough! #UTedChat

A4 My only complaint was that I was too busy to get to very many sessions. I love helping w/ the @UCET Board, but that keeps me from attending as many. I'd rather help plan an awesome conf for other EDUs to learn & grow! #UTedChat
As of right now, I don't have plans to be at #ISTE18 in Chicago. I'm so sad about that, but the funding isn't there for me. But I never say never ,,, #UTedChat
A4 But honestly, I don't think there are many things I'd change about #UCET18. The Board did an awesome job. @sedcclint was amazing with all the volunteers. The food was delicious. It was awesome! #UTedChat
Q5 We had some AMAZING Keynotes at #UCET18 last week. If you could physically attend a talk/speech from anyone living today, who would it be & why? #UTedChat
A4 I honestly wouldn’t change anything about my favorite learning environment. I love classroom learning because it gives you so many different perspectives #utedchat
This article is an important one to read. I also think that social media is taking place of actually meeting others in person, and there is something special about meeting and talking in person that makes you a lot happier. #UTedChat
A4: I wish I could attend #UCET18 in parallel universes. One where I can attend sessions, one where I can hang out in the playground, one where I can network, and one where I can just get stickers from vendors. #utedchat
Too many to get out there, but I would love to see @neiltyson speak at some point or @SirKenRobinson. However, I like the surprise of seeing someone speak that I did not know before I saw them and being amazing at their ideas. #edtrex#utedchat
The only sessions we have video of are the Keynotes, the Ignites, and maybe some of the Spotlights in that main room. The videos will end up on our YouTube channel later this year. https://t.co/Ve9rDyRDAB#UTedChat
A5: I just finished reading #PowerofMoments by Chip and Dan Heath. I absolutely love their books (Switch and Make It Stick). Would love to hear them in person! #utedchat
#utedchat
A.5 I loved the keynote by Manoosh from Brooklyn. I got ideas from her screencast, in order to do my own project which is due on Monday. Thank you Dani.
A4: I’d have to agree with @KiltedMath_T! One thing I’d change about learning environments is the inequality of access to technology. Especially in today’s world, it’s important that kiddos know how to use and understand the their way around digital devices #UTedChat#edps3140
Q5: As a future educator, I would love to hear the Dalai Lama speak in person. I think compassion and understanding are so important in today's classrooms. I know I could learn a lot from him! #utedchat
A5: I would attend a talk from Elizabeth Marks (Paralympic Gold Medalist '16, Army Vet) because I want to learn how she has overcome challenges herself so that I can inspire my students to overcome obstacles in life the same way.

A5: JK Rowling. I'd more just love to sit and listen to her talk about people and what she's learned about people. She got such an eye for character development, I think she must see and notice a lot in others. #UTedchat

A5: I think I would like to hear Nick Vujicic. My mom and I used to listen and watch him talk through YouTube all the time. I think it would be amazing to actually be in the same space as he is. #UTedChat#edps3140
A6 Wouldn't it be awesome to do a giant Karaoke night on Thursday? Can you imagine a bunch of #UCET19 folks rockin' out to some awesome tunes? Maybe even have a competition where the winner gets a FREE ticket to the following @UCET Conf? So great! #UTedChat
