I only “share” my students with their “specials’ teachers. It was a struggle in the past, that I was supposed to make them behave for another teacher..who has the same qualifications as me. Not the issue any more. #bfc530

I don't "share" my Ss specifically for Sci as I'm the only 6th gr Sci T in building. But we share for intervention & extension groups, advisories. #bfc530
For our last day of school, we have a bunch a students who will be sharing about their culture today to the whole 7th grade. They volunteered with no need for extra credit. Who says everything a child does at school needs to be graded or that they need that motivation. #bfc530

As a RS, I “share” Ss that are considered struggling, reluctant and advanced readers. Scheduling can be a nightmare but our focus should be on making their success a reality and not just a Dream. By working together, anything is possible! #BFC530#LoveLiteracyLearning
The only Ss I share with other Ts are those with IEPs for accommodations. They will sometimes go to our LST's room during independent work periods. #bfc530

I wish our school used one of our extra T days for day after the Ss last day. It might make our last days w/ kids more relaxed & enjoyable if everything didn't have to be done at the same time. #bfc530

We had a nice celebration of teachers yesterday afternoon- we celebrate the “Pillars” of or school, the teachers who have been at our school 10, 15, 20 years. I got a shout out for completing year 15! #BFC530
As I am sitting here at 5:30 in the morning in June. I am struck by 1. How we have all come, day after day and 2. How many years of experience we have and yet we continue to come, to learn, to grow. Anyone who criticizes teachers should pop in one day. #bfc530

I know - it's so difficult to de-construct a classroom when kids are in it daily. We did 3 half-days so the afternoons were for classroom cleanup and packing (and moving if that was on the agenda). #bfc530
My son will be visiting this year, I'll probably have it on my destination list for next summer. He'll be visiting the dog rescue house again with leashes, collars and goodies for the "residents". Keep an eye out for the pups meet-up on the beach again! #bfc530
There's so much to organize in the classrooms - we really need the time. Ts who finish quickly help LA Ts check off all the books on the classroom libraries - that's one of the biggest jobs #bfc530

All of the Ss that receive academic support services have it during the same period, 4 different teachers. Ss have the opportunity to see any or all of them! 15 min of goal work, then the rest is up to them... #iteachspecialed#bfc530

As an elementary SPED T I mix Ss based off their needs. While I would love to give more 1 on 1 support there just isn't the time in the day for that. My groups are very fluid and Ss ebb and flow, again based off their need. #bfc530
