Teachers interested in 3D/VR might be interested in trying out the beta of Edorble, a 3D world for online ed. Like if interested!
Hi Brenda, PA elementary school librarian
A2 Love it and her asking; "How did you get a museum in there?" Never too late to teach someone something https://t.co/0A65jpDREN

so very true! Some have experienced motion sickness if too much movement
How costly is Google Glass?
A2: I remember that video from TCEA! It's still a great one :)
it was a few thousand, but I don't know if they are even in production anymore. Google Cardboard can run a few dollars :D
Nice to see you here Glenn!!!
Oops, Google Cardboard is what I meant! So pretty cheap, then.
absolutely! I'll connect after the
I've found on for as little as $2
Jumping in late to ... I haven't explored VR much. One of those things I keep wanting to get to. I will! I will!
A3: can take students to parts of the world they may or may not get to physically visit
I assume your students all use their phones? I would only have mine https://t.co/eSpVMyRU6r
I've found on for as little as $2
A3: Being able to see places with more context & in a more interactive fashion is great. Being able to explore with the senses
We were very lucky and the Google Expeditions people came to our school. It was awesome!
Would be great lesson in the classroom I have never used it, if she was engaged & entertained I'm sure students will be
A2 Great lesson in the classroom I have never used it, if she was engaged & entertained I'm sure students will be
and so much farther than we could imagine! Great point
or iPods could work too. I've thought about making a 3D file for printable viewer for iPads
That is right on Glenn. So many new doors have opened using in EDU
Question 4 coming in 1 min
A3 virtual field trips giving students the access to places they wouldn't be able to see normally
A3) It creates new avenues of discovery and connection. I use in class.
that is fabulous! How did the Ss respond? Have you used it again since?
A4 Probably somewhere in space
It was a one time visit. It isn't recently yet. It was awesome. Kids LOVED it
Great point that our students are unlimited in discovery and connections using in EDU
Yes! I used to teach students who hadn't been more than 75 miles from home. I did current events to expand their world
I would enjoy exploring some of those for myself, Jaime. :)
Can't wait to share some resources at the end for apps that will absolutely target that area :D
When I started teaching I was amazed how many Ss hadn't traveled even in state.
This is an incredible idea! Can't wait till we have live chats using #360 videos
Yay! Please share more about too after the chat. It looks great to use. https://t.co/qX11KWxa2b

Great idea!!! Love that you have a very specific need. APP MAKERS-you hear this! :D
And there are SOOO many #360 videos on these experiences!
A4 what about from space or airplane view of clouds
Q5 What is your favorite app or experience? If you’re new to VR, share what you need your kids to experience in learning.
A4 love 360's, but biggest wish is movement! Like fish!!!!
A5) totally fun, I love coloring with I use it in class for intro activities and other things.
I think some of the aerial VR experiences are neat to think about how we see things from different POVs -Ex. birdseye
so true! I'd love to see POV's experiences on more apps and sites
and you sure are good at it!!! 😂
Both virtually and IRL! lol
Looks like fun, Emily. I'll download and give it a go and maybeshare it with some Kinder/1st graders.
You are seriously going to be blown away! It is one of my favorite apps!
A6) I would just like to get hold of the Google cardboard.
Oh yeah, that's not . But it's cool either way!
That one is pretty cool. had the rock formations and caverns that you mentioned :)
Sorry to be late to such a great chat.
