A2: indirect vs direct characterization has always been worth time spent; students need help understanding "show, don't tell"

For Giver, we're "transmitting" memories, EITHER as deleted scenes (giving Ms to Jonas) or showing Ms from our past in her style.

Analyze a character and then write a narrative from the character’s POV. Must include text support from novel also.
