CatholicEdChat is a twitter chat. Topics focus on discussions around educational issues for Catholic Educators and topics beneficial to Catholic Schools. We look forward to continuing to connect Catholic Educators online to discuss education and teaching with faith in our schools. The chat takes place on Saturday mornings. Time 9am EST.

The top of my to-do list for today is evaluating some 6th grade coding projects. The students loved the project, so I'm excited to see what they created. #CatholicEdChat
They used StarLogo Nova to model a tallgrass prairie ecosystem, and showed the effects of an invasive species on the native plants and/or animals that live there. #CatholicEdChat
Thanks! ☺️☺️. Battleship, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Clue, and a take on Twister is what we currently have planned. My partner for youth group was researching a few more! #CatholicEdChat
Our St. Patrick’s Day parade is tomorrow afternoon—some of our students will be marching in the parade and promoting our awesome school! #CatholicEdChat#SMISaysYes ☘️☘️
Our oldest daughter is home from St. Joe's in Philly for the week - we have not seen her since Jan. 15 so I'm looking forward to hanging out w/ her! #catholicedchat
Doing well this sunny morning in St. Joe, MO. Still recalling great discussion from our educationor ministry formation day with my faculty and @revkoster#CatholicEdChat
We're now in record breaking territory!
7,000 students registered from 21 states, 2 Canadian Provinces, and a class from Pakistan! Thank you all for participating and making this the largest #GlobalMarchBookMadness yet! It's never too late to join: https://t.co/UF9QM9LTQP
Our English teacher does one of these w/ books the kids have read over their time at RSM. Kids love it...will see if she already participates/wants to join in a larger one. #CatholicEdChat
Thank you everyone for the prayers. While both men are now free from pain, they leave behind their wives, many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family members #catholicedchat
As I spent my week searching the #NCEA18 app, I was wondering: is the #TweetUp a ticketed event or just come if you’re available? @jene527 and I definitely want to be there this year! @BarbInNebraska#CatholicEdChat
For those interested, the new #GoogleEDU Innovator cohorts have been announced. Only 2 English speaking ones but one is close to home-Venice! Wouldn’t mind visiting Denmark either! #CatholicEdChat

Great, have really been missing Australia. I need to go back and do this regularly. My daughter is going back next year. Need to figure out a good conference I could present at. #CatholicEdChat

Is it Smartboard compatible? I almost wish I could just put it right on my Smartboard as opposed to opening a website...#CatholicEdChat will definitely use on Monday.

I did a prayer chain with my classes. Each day we reflect on a short thought and write an intention to add to our chain. Ss want to continue this past Lent! #CatholicEdChat
Other area @RSMSchools 6th grade is a different set of mysteries each week during Lent. 6th Grade + Kindergarten combine to say a Rosary and work on craft about the set of mysteries that day. #CatholicEdChat
One of our schools is doing a Stations of the Cross work out. Each station has a physical activity. Hoping it will help children relate to physical struggle of Jesus. https://t.co/OaQ9b6jLDx#catholicedchat
Our 6th graders are creating Stations of the Cross in Google Slides with reflections and prayers they've written. We are recording in Screencastify, and uploading to a playlist on YouTube, and will share out the playlist link to our community. #CatholicEdChat
