    In reply to @stevethedoc1, @hrogerson
  • SKLchem May 29 @ 3:04 PM EDT
#asechat A small amount once the GCSE & A-level exams have finished; though we also run events for our local primaries in this time too!

    In reply to @SKLchem, @hrogerson
  • BenjaminDBarker May 29 @ 3:05 PM EDT
No, their timetable is rationalised to ensure even distribution of lessons prior to exam, we really benefit in science #ASEchat
    In reply to @ViciaScience, @hrogerson
  • hrogerson May 29 @ 3:06 PM EDT
Ours do. I know there has been a move away from it, but I think that many students do appreciate it. #asechat

    In reply to @hrogerson, @stevethedoc1
  • ViciaScience May 29 @ 3:10 PM EDT
June used to be prime time for field courses and visits - less pressure on Y12 from other subjects helped too when AS over #ASEChat
  • hrogerson May 29 @ 3:10 PM EDT
I think some do need the time to think for themselves, be independent and work in a silent environment. Classroom not always this. #asechat
    In reply to @BenjaminDBarker
  • aegilopoides May 29 @ 3:10 PM EDT
Not all of ours got leave. Those we thought needed more support stay in school. First year they have done this. #asechat

    In reply to @aegilopoides, @hrogerson
  • ScienceLP May 29 @ 3:13 PM EDT

  • whitebug16 May 29 @ 3:14 PM EDT
#asechat i think a rationalised timetable. they all get extra time, so expecting them to want to do anything after 2+ hrs exam = silly
    In reply to @BenjaminDBarker, @hrogerson
  • SKLchem May 29 @ 3:15 PM EDT
#asechat 1/2 We will be working on essential pracs - checking AOs, finding/writing ques; mapping skills into SOW; also reviewing A-level
    In reply to @hrogerson
  • hrogerson May 29 @ 3:15 PM EDT
we don't invigilate 'real' exams, just the school ones. We did it at my last school too. But less students had readers/scribes. #asechat
