Trying to multitask, Lisa here.
Q1 Why is "The Why" important in creating a Culture of Learning?
Did our political stalking yesterday in Des Moines
hello everyone. In Omaha waiting on snowmageddon
RT Q1 Why is "The Why" important in creating a Culture of Learning?
A1 When we understand that our focus starts w/ the learning, we are able to shape the culture!
We must know & live our purpose.
A1: In a COL everyone has purpose and purpose answers..."The Why"
A1 There will be roadblocks in anything we do. Remembering 'the why' helps us go around or over these obstacles.
A1: WHY provides the direction, motivation and intention for learning WHATever we need students to learn
Oh you know me, Michele, I bring the fun! lol
A1: We need the why to tie what we do to our goals. Feels like wandering aimlessly and trying new things on whims without the why.
A1: Without purpose we are just shooting in the dark.
A1) It establish our purpose and our core values.
A1 adults don't do things unless they hv a purpose, why wd children be any different?
Thank you Doc! What are great minds discussing tonight within the culture?
A1:
The Why is important in any culture that is valued. You need to know why before you will trust to do.
https://t.co/8RGdioh2M7
A1: WHY provides the direction, motivation and intention for learning WHATever we need students to learn
A1-When you remember your WHY, you are more centered & passionate. The kids feel that & the whole culture feeds off of that.
Need to have a target, for sure! Love your new picture!
A1 Most people like change. Just don't want to change themselves. Focus is on Ss & what is in their best interests, now & future.
And where's the wonderful ?
A1: Right after you establish relationships you need "why" to be your collective guide. If it doesn't make sense, why do it?
A1 schools are stuck in 2 gears: How & What. "Here's how you do this thing you'll never do again, ever"
A1: I think the "why" is essential to get buy-in.
Imagining dropping the mic after a lively round of
A1 Asking Why and thinking about Why implies but also scaffolds a growth mindset - critical in a COL.
Kids can feel your WHY.
https://t.co/2W2dOJ8LCj
A1-When you remember your WHY, you are more centered & passionate. The kids feel that & the whole culture feeds off of that.
I agree...the why is lost many times!
Hey Jessica. Welcome in! Go slow, read, jump into convo when you're ready but most of all, have fun!
I was heading to sleep, but may peek in for a bit!
A1:In past yrs I sheltered my Ss from some of the WHY of SBL This year with no WHY filter, my Ss understand & trust me so much more
A1. It makes our children think. It's also motivation to do something.
I agree. When I focus on my why it helps to fuel my purpose.
We have to keep the why in focus otherwise we become part of the standard
The WHY provides the intrinsic motivation. Without a true WHY, no authentic growth occurs.
A1- focus and direction. Helps steer the ship
Hi - if you don't answer why you just leave them crying in rain. Don't do Rachel McAdams or Ss like that https://t.co/itItRjNUwM
A1 Without clear motivation and buy-in, everything dries up and ultimately fails. The ‘Why’ is crucial
Exactly! Trust & building relationships is key. https://t.co/RZdKX0QL7y
A1:
The Why is important in any culture that is valued. You need to know why before you will trust to do.
they know that what you are getting ready to share with them applies to them too.
A1: When we focus on the why, answers to questions come so much easier. Gives direction. Ss and Ts
Robin has scaffolding on her mind tonight!
https://t.co/1bT0nHBHdW
A1 Asking Why and thinking about Why implies but also scaffolds a growth mindset - critical in a COL.
A1: Why establishes the agreed upon need. Everything else builds on that.
Sleep, you say? What is that? 😴😴 Hello Rik!
Arina from Clarkston,Mi A1 Purpose determines the ways and the means, and helps to streamline all of the efforts.
A1 Asking why gets everyone clarifying what's important to them. Everyone. Even people who may have never asked that question.
A1: Kids know our WHAT is teaching - show them WHY, and they will trust you.
a1. Our Ss should never be afraid of asking why
In order to gain momentum and make a change you have to be able to explain your why
A1 In education I believe our big "why" is what binds us together...how we get there is the magic of a great COL
A1-In order to have culture of learning in our classroom, I need/want my kids to know their WHY. I need to lead by example.
See, you still have cool GIFs and I'm out. hehe
RJ, nice to see you! https://t.co/mbQLXv6GOw
A1 In education I believe our big "why" is what binds us together...how we get there is the magic of a great COL
A1 why?? allows for curiosity, intrinsic motivation to find the answers, to wonder and guide the process
A1 Ss will do difficult work, Ss will go beyond expectations...but only if they see the WHY behind learning
BAM! https://t.co/L27Dz48VGw
The WHY provides the intrinsic motivation. Without a true WHY, no authentic growth occurs.
This TED Talk truly changed how I viewed teaching, learning, and leadership.
Common themes I see in the tweets to Q1 about knowing your 'why': FOCUS & TRUST
A1: WHY drives autonomy...how and what can deter individuality.
A1 Why is probably the first question we ever asked and rightfully so.
Q2 What strategies do you use to establish "The Why" & ensure all members within your school community know their purpose?
Yes, just ask https://t.co/Y1gNoWIHZJ
Common themes I see in the tweets to Q1 about knowing your 'why': FOCUS & TRUST
A1 A 'why change' strategy also needs to share a vision of the future different from today.
Without understanding of why, it becomes just another educational fad - do this, do that. https://t.co/YcSuw9cGWm
A1-In order to have culture of learning in our classroom, I need/want my kids to know their WHY. I need to lead by example.
RT Q2 What strategies do you use to establish "The Why" & ensure all members within your school community know their purpose?
A2: By giving people a voice we allow them to find their why.
A2) Lots of conversations. We have to talk our WHY.
fake question - which is more important? S knowing the "why?" or knowing you care?
A2 Establishing 'the why' for a school community begins by developing the mission/vision with input from stakeholders.
A2: Listening and asking questions. We establish the "whys" together. We collaborate all the time.
Why am I trying to type responses with a 3-week old baby in my arm?
Because fuels my week!
Q2 - We ask our Learners daily why the math works like it does. It deepens understanding and communication.
Early leader of the GIFs tonight....
A close second...
A1: we need the 'why' cuz that binds us to the purpose which also provides and gives us fulfillment for our heart based practice
A2 I like to get admin reflecting & discussing our mission & vision. It's also important to tie in each individual's beliefs.
A2 Tapping into team members strengths helps to work toward 'the why' of the school/district. Everyone has something to contribute.
Hi! Fred, high school librarian and aspiring administrator in Fort Worth, TX. Awesome topic, wanted to see what's being said.
what if the why is because we care?
A2: Honesty is really important. Sometimes WHY in math doesn't surface until the following course.
A2 Actively listen to what everyone has to say. Ask open-ended questions. Set aside presumptions.
Beliefs lead to behaviors lead to results. Too many schools focus on behaviors. The WHY is about beliefs. Start with the WHY!
A2: Transparency: explicitly stating the reason behind the actions I take so Ss "get it." A new schoolwide vision gives purpose.
By asking for what they need to be successful. Asking why they think it should work a different way
Awww, congrats, Walter! How are you doing both?!? https://t.co/FwYUut0x6R
Why am I trying to type responses with a 3-week old baby in my arm?
Because fuels my week!
Hey educators! Greg- 2nd grade, MD. Hope all are well. Checking in a bit late, but always glad to be in the conversation.
A2 well defined goals, mission, & vision for the school & students drives and focuses the "why", creates the growth culture
We aim to develop the "why" in and DAILY! https://t.co/8F7XgUznxd
A2: Honesty is really important. Sometimes WHY in math doesn't surface until the following course.
Welcome to https://t.co/sAljUkbY5L
Hey educators! Greg- 2nd grade, MD. Hope all are well. Checking in a bit late, but always glad to be in the conversation.
A2: Lots of open conversations. When talking about the why and purpose it needs to be face to face; no emails or texts
It's not a contest, I hope we all make it to GIF land! I would have to make more right now to contend!
Setting aside presumptions is a hard and necessary thing to do! https://t.co/qZLoLRt9w2
A2 Actively listen to what everyone has to say. Ask open-ended questions. Set aside presumptions.
Greg, nice to see you in tonight!
Steve from Urbandale, celebrating the end of the Iowa Political circus Better late then never
A2) I meet with grade levels each Tuesday. Discussions revolve around our WHY before we get to the HOW or the WHAT.
Welcome to https://t.co/0oWJrPsdZ2
Steve from Urbandale, celebrating the end of the Iowa Political circus Better late then never
When I read this Rodney it processed for me as; Kids can feel authenticity. Yes?
I like "we" develop the "why" - T is less of a salesperson.
"Please try the tuna - & mitosis" https://t.co/fv83PIplnd
A2 To get people understand "why," it has to be personally relevant to them. Make it matter.
So great to see both of you here tonight!
A2: Try to remember the "who" and try not to focus so much on the what.
As do I. I was trying to state that math is building and sometime skills are a boring "why".
A2 Most community members see the future much the same as today. Sharing quotes, vids., examples helps create a different view.
No reason for me to tweet anymore. Tim said IT all! 🤗
A2 Believing how critical a caring adult is in the daily life of each student and knowing we have that opportunity each day
Constant open communication and openness to discuss and create relationships
A2: Look at the data to know where the gaps are - must be buy-in to change the culture.
Kids are so intuitive. They will tell you honestly if you have created a culture of learning.
A2 the WHY = human development of young people...this needs to be stressed repeatedly
BAM! https://t.co/R2GE5v3hRY
A2 Believing how critical a caring adult is in the daily life of each student and knowing we have that opportunity each day
Nothing good is labeled for reuse. Aaaah!
A2 well defined goals & Qs allow purposeful "whys" from Ss, drives their learning, creates student centered learning environment
Have you noticed how many answers to this involve building relationships? https://t.co/NPiOk2DKeT
RT Q2 What strategies do you use to establish "The Why" & ensure all members within your school community know their purpose?
Data should be used more often for implementing change in schools. https://t.co/38SIOU51T3
A2: Look at the data to know where the gaps are - must be buy-in to change the culture.
A2: Teachers need to know "why" too. We want to trust our admin and know "why" is a key to building trust.
so true...so I assume you know it comes from *insert random movie/TV show"
Relationships are at the heart of every COL
A2b: I struggle with the term "buy in", feel like it implies that answers are known before questions are asked. That is not collab
Authentic relationship building! Be intentional! Growth happens.
Yes! Building Relationships starts with the why then the focus then the trust and finally growth
Q3 Before we do "The What"...we must know "The Why". WHY do you show up everyday?
A2 We have a consistent school wide message of student support with biweekly school imp lessons to keep the imp front/center
It's also amazing how clear and fast the HOW and WHAT become when you've taken time to clearly define the WHY...together!
We used data to set goals for relationships and attendance
What do you think about the word 'embrace'? Does that give a better connotation?
RT Q3 Before we do "The What"...we must know "The Why". WHY do you show up everyday?
A3: The why: Make a positive difference. The what: changes each day!
RT Q3 Before we do "The What"...we must know "The Why". WHY do you show up everyday?
. I could not agree more! https://t.co/xpYXxAv10k
A2b: I struggle with the term "buy in", feel like it implies that answers are known before questions are asked. That is not collab
A2 needs to be part of the learning process, systematic 1st step in every unit, every lesson
A3: I show up everyday bc those kids depend on me. My teachers need to know that there is someone there to guide them if needed.
A2 With every decision, we repeat the mantra "is this what is best for students?"
HUGE! https://t.co/iIyT7hsw3A
It's also amazing how clear and fast the HOW and WHAT become when you've taken time to clearly define the WHY...together!
Because I am committed to the relationships I have built with my staff and students and their families
A2 if we tell ss or tt how they could apply something and how I'll benefit them, they are more like to understand.
valid point! I have to reflect more on the concept of "buy-in".
Q2: ONLY strategy that will mesh within a culture of learning is building and curating sound relationships.
Mission-driven. When the mission is clear, the action plan comes together.
A3: Because I may be the only smile and hello they get all day
A3 My why: to advocate for children, to give them HOPE!
Even on the hardest days, I get hugs, smiles, hand-drawn pictures & love!
A3: WHY? I want my Ss to know that someone cares about them. I want to offer support be it academic or otherwise.
Melting! https://t.co/3XvLkWARhr
A3 My why: to advocate for children, to give them HOPE!
Even on the hardest days, I get hugs, smiles, hand-drawn pictures & love!
A3: BC I am there caring adult, I get their breakfast with a warm smile, and I care that they grow as a person
to see those sweet smiling faces and so they know someone is happy to see them.
A3: B/c I said I would and I have integrity. B/c I enjoy being a teacher and I think it's my calling. B/c Ss are totes amusing.
A3: To positively change the world through the vehicle of ed. I'm called to be a positive influence in the lives of others.
A3. We all believe https://t.co/UuXE4iLGTa
Q3 Before we do "The What"...we must know "The Why". WHY do you show up everyday?
A3: Lots of people depend on my efforts and I receive so much in return.
YES!! Say EACH of their names EVERYDAY! https://t.co/RfcsDogWBe
A3: Because I may be the only smile and hello they get all day
This is the essence of authentic relationship building!
I show up everyday to "Be There" for my Ss & Ts, listening, modeling, & working toward growth mindset & Belief system of "I can"
A3. Hopefully to inspire and motivate teachers! And support them however possible.
A3: I know its a little selfish but there is no other place I feel more valued during the day, than in my classroom community.
The answers to Q3 should be enough to surpass the and cause to trend! Educators making a difference for kids!
The best way to make a difference and change the world is to know your why and start with yourself!
A3: As Rita Pierson would say, "every kid needs a champion!"
instead of buy-in, think of getting people to take ownership
A3 because kids matter, because potential = limitless, because one of these Ss has to cure AIDS
A3 I show up Because I believe that I make a difference in lives of others. Every day.
Yes, embrace = better connotation. Top preference collaboration/conversation.
Developing answer together https://t.co/gRrHUYFl56
What do you think about the word 'embrace'? Does that give a better connotation?
I am intentional about greeting each S w/ handshake or high five and a "how are you". Expecting same in return.
Truth! https://t.co/YyWMxGrEn0
The best way to make a difference and change the world is to know your why and start with yourself!
Starting with yourself is key before you can start the "Why" for someone else.
I have no idea how to do this. At all. You should see my GIF making theatrics!
Impact! It's what we do each day! Makes the work so worth it!
A3: I make sure I know all of my Ss names and greet them by name, smile, and a huge/fistbump every morning.
A3) I'm a big believer in servant leadership. I show up to serve. How can I help you help our kids?
Heading off to sleep so I can be my very best for our Learners tomorrow. Thank you for the invite.
A3 We show up because we can't imagine making a bigger difference doing anything else.
Thank you for checking in, Rik. We have missed you.
If I die laughing during will you rename the chat after me in my honor? lol
Yes. Yes, indeed. :-) Doesn't that just make your heart smile?!
Be that difference you want to see in the world. Ghandi https://t.co/eRs9EgbppA
The best way to make a difference and change the world is to know your why and start with yourself!
Love it! https://t.co/acJGrAfZrw
A3) I'm a big believer in servant leadership. I show up to serve. How can I help you help our kids?
I show up every day to show those who are not yet on board the Growth Mindset that it is here to stay!
A3 that shd be step#1 in every T's learning process
Q4 Think of something you do or a risk you have taken with your students. Share your "why".
A3 I show up every day because I want every child in my building to know that their life is important and they are loved
It took being intentional to get to this point. You have authentic relationships w/ your Ss. They know "real".
A4: Take a risk...be innovative...our future leaders are watching!
RT Q4 Think of something you do or a risk you have taken with your students. Share your "why".
A4 I have tried to teach Math in French. I am functionally bilingual, but "Improper fractions" doesn't come up much. Yowzah!
A4: I sang to them. Like to embarrass myself for their benefit!
THIS is what ed leadership is about! https://t.co/ujSa7ZbtLC
A3) I'm a big believer in servant leadership. I show up to serve. How can I help you help our kids?
Thank you for letting me jump in for a bit, great reflective chat!! Debbie, instructional coach from Alabama
Love ! Always room for growth, and plenty of ways to grow. Always moving forward!
A4: I have shared the education struggles that I experienced - It is part of my story of "why" I implement SBL
A4b: Questioning things that don't align with what is good for their learning.
A4: Created a student centered classroom and put them in charge of their learning. Why---because every kid is different
It is easier to take risks when you are living and aligned to your purpose and passion!
A4 I listen to students ideas & support them in reaching goals.
Why? To empower them
It's only embarrassing for them. Rock it out! https://t.co/x4nAQm5QP8
A4: I sang to them. Like to embarrass myself for their benefit!
Q4: I teach my students sign language to help them with language development and concept understanding
A4: Share my personal failures to get students to take learning risks themselves - IAGr8D2BW (its a great day to be wrong)
A4: I take a risk to be the union for our students bc the teachers have a union. I represent the voice of my students.
A4 I play music during lunch & dance with students.
Why? Because dancing brings joy!
A4: Because I always believe we can do better and our students deserve for us to try.
A4 As MS P, I played bit parts in MS plays. If I can get out of my comfort zone so can Ss and Ts.
A4 I pray over students. In hallways. In offices. When I know them, and when I don't.
A4 risk = I quit Tchg (tho I loved it) to spread the word on the WHY thru doing PD nationally w Top 20
Love this! Once you have this, risks are not just something to consider, but something you do! https://t.co/oeoOmnAauo
It is easier to take risks when you are living and aligned to your purpose and passion!
Ditto...and we all laugh and smile
Empowering ! Supporting others to be their best, both Ts and Ss. https://t.co/br3TqOp16V
A3) I'm a big believer in servant leadership. I show up to serve. How can I help you help our kids?
. A4. I videotaped myself teaching a lesson and shared it with all to model self-reflection for my staff.
A4) As a principal, I ask Ss their opinions. They can be brutal but they are honest. I like to ask "What do you think about...?
email me at info@top20training.com for an interesting article on the WHY (Tom)
A4 Silly = dressing up like Elvis and singing with my MS choir (I was awful) Serious = Advocating for authentic
A4: I often ask for feedback from Ss & adjust as needed. It is about them, not me.
I shared my report cards to show I struggled also but still ended up doing well I feel like it makes me human to them
I love singing, dancing, and getting messy with my Ss whatever they come up with! Sometimes I just yell "squirrel"
You have to love kids and their honesty!
https://t.co/gACW8FZyDG
A4) As a principal, I ask Ss their opinions. They can be brutal but they are honest. I like to ask "What do you think about...?
vulnerability = strength!
Nice risk!
https://t.co/5pirixaFGF
. A4. I videotaped myself teaching a lesson and shared it with all to model self-reflection for my staff.
must be around if you yell 'squirrel' https://t.co/avbtXwojO7
I love singing, dancing, and getting messy with my Ss whatever they come up with! Sometimes I just yell "squirrel"
! One of the best places to be yourself and grow. Thanks, all!
Displaying flexibility, and building Ss voice! Powerful! https://t.co/p0Hzd0l8d3
A4: I often ask for feedback from Ss & adjust as needed. It is about them, not me.
A1: We begin every activity, lesson, & meeting by stating our purpose. From there, we can begin to derive our "Why," or our "What."
A4 I tell ss to stop thinking like students. I tell them that grades will never determine who they are. I invest time in thinking
Thank you for joining, Robin. Have a fantastic week!
Sorry--keep getting results updates to the IA caucuses
Q5 How can thinking about our "why" help us overcome obstacles and challenges?
A4: Give students choice even in areas that I want to control
Risk = Come to the PAC on Feb 18 to watch & me do a ditty.
Q4 I'm letting my students cut my hair for reading month if the school makes their goal 😀
Excited to host Tom Feb. 2nd at 8pm PST. Topic: Differentiated Instruction
it's all good till the big fat squirrel shows up and scares the staff cause he stares them down for food
Yes! Because your motivation is pure and authentic.
A5: The why keeps us focused so that when an obstacle is there we can get over it and keep moving forward
The goal/mission drives the action. Collaborated w/ Ss to develop class mission statement. Powerful results!
A5: It helps you continue to do the difficult work of helping kids be successful no matter what it takes or how you do it
RT Q5 How can thinking about our "why" help us overcome obstacles and challenges?
A5: When the what fails...the why prevails!
A5 Staying focused on our 'why' during tough times helps us take action toward our purpose & keeps us moving forward.
A4 I share my story. Trailer park, young marriage and kids, community college. Success comes in all shades and colors
A5: The "why" gives us courage! Being true to our why means doing things that may be uncomfortable or unpopular.
A5: We have a shared focus and we can identify hurdles we need to overcome together.
A5: When we remind ourselves of our WHY, we can reset and refocus. If our mind is set on WHY then nothing can stop learners.
A5 It is "easier" to run through a brick wall if you know why you need to get to the other side.
A5) Anything worth doing will have obstacles and challenges. They don't end the journey. They are part of the journey.
Be true to yourself! https://t.co/mpzW1qLVfk
A5: The "why" gives us courage! Being true to our why means doing things that may be uncomfortable or unpopular.
A5: This! The why helps us not get dragged into distractions. https://t.co/82FY7sH6g3
A5 Staying focused on our 'why' during tough times helps us take action toward our purpose & keeps us moving forward.
a5. reminds us what's important
A5: Reconnecting with our why allows the daily stresses to not be all consuming! Our why should consume us!
Sometimes, you have to flexible enough to change the "what" to support the "why". Adjust action plan to keep mission.
A5 The why lets you sleep well at night and rise energized in the morning despite the obstacles.
A5 thinking of why help see a bigger picture. It allows to see opportunity I every obstacle and challenge.
I'm a parent enjoying this conversation, and this is my favorite bit yet. https://t.co/PoGNNtFU4A
Q4 I'm letting my students cut my hair for reading month if the school makes their goal 😀
REALLY needed this tonight. Reconnecting with my why after a very stressful day. https://t.co/oB1cxQLJbK
A5: Reconnecting with our why allows the daily stresses to not be all consuming! Our why should consume us!
A5. Once you FEEL the WHY, it is impossible to do anything but persevere in the mission!
A5: What alone can cause us to wander aimlessly - need the Why for the target to be clear and the aim straight.
Agreed! https://t.co/jvwTJcWm1d
A5 The why lets you sleep well at night and rise energized in the morning despite the obstacles.
A5 I cannot state this enough, our collective "why" in education is a source of amazing generative and regenerative power
A5 Focusing on causes outside ourselves and how we interact with others can allow for learnings that last
Love when parents join...TY!
I show up every day because I believe in what we do: I believe in our purpose, I believe in our "why," and I believe in our "what."
Harness the power of our collective why. We must tell our story!
https://t.co/iqmwNdgFl7
A5 I cannot state this enough, our collective "why" in education is a source of amazing generative and regenerative power
Especially when the "why" is focused on S learning, growth, and success, both academically & socially.
Thank you for joining. Appreciate your input and hope you will come back again.
Q6 What does this quote mean to you.."People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it."
surprise tonight...We have a Q6 & Q7...oh the joy.
A5: Why is ultimately the students. Obstacles are adult egos. Challenges are playing nicely together. It's about the students.
RT Q6 What does this quote mean to you.."People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it." https://t.co/W3y39HSWuk
RT Q6 What does this quote mean to you.."People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it."

A6: Reminds me - we do not fool anyone. People know our true colors.they know what we are passionate about. We must lead this way

A5: Why is ultimately the students. Obstacles are adult egos. Challenges are playing nicely together. It's about the students.
A6: We are a tiny district with 30% of our Ss as School of Choice. They have to believe my why or they would go to their hometown.
Never underestimate the power of individuals working together for a common purpose. https://t.co/vnGp5bt0BP
A5 I cannot state this enough, our collective "why" in education is a source of amazing generative and regenerative power

A6 People who live their 'why' (their purpose) exude passion. Others are drawn to this & believe in you when you live your passion.
A6 People want to believe in something - they want to believe in you. Purpose is a powerful motivator & connector.
A6: People might assume ulterior motives in the what, but if your why is pure there's nothing to question.
A6) People need to know that your purpose aligns with theirs. What are you in it for?
BAM
Live your pure why! https://t.co/GYO4XgzcKh
A6: People might assume ulterior motives in the what, but if your why is pure there's nothing to question.
This hour always goes by super quick! Thank you for helping me grow as a leader for my children
A6: People see into your heart and your intentions. Belief and vision has to happen within first.
A6 People and our students see past what we do they have already been fooled by life. They look and place more importance on why
A6: People do not appreciate ulterior motives. Ever.

A6: People might assume ulterior motives in the what, but if your why is pure there's nothing to question.
Elementary students can sniff out a fake quicker than a bloodhound. They know if you're there for the right reasons
A6: Your why is the x-factor;the thing that sets you apart. Good or bad, your why determines the fate of your self-defined purpose.
In the words of Bret Michaels...
"Give me something to believe in!"

RT Q6 What does this quote mean to you.."People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it."
Reinforces importance of reflection. Are my actions supporting vision? Would I want to be treated like that?
Thank you for a great opportunity to reflect. PLN's sharpen the WHY. Have a great week.
It's about the trusting relationships that are built. They know your why
This is true in the sense that servant leadership is also modeled leadership with passion! https://t.co/K6VViWJZqx
RT Q6 What does this quote mean to you.."People don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it." https://t.co/W3y39HSWuk
A6 Authenticity. We tend to avoid doing in what we don't believe.
And Ss can read people like a book. They recognize "real", and "fake" in a hurry.
Makes it tough for students not to buy in when you offer that! https://t.co/jKYsNi8aGE
