 A2: NCLB, ESSA, some others. Interested in what the future holds for education legislation

A2: Act 187 is the most recent to make a big change for me

 Umm, yes. If a guy wins, his first stance is to get rid of Title I, which funds a multitude of paras @ elementary

A3:  With the lack of education being a topic debated/discussed this year, I am nervous!

A3: I think it will impact my schools. I'm just not 100% sure how. I'd like more education discussion at the top

A3: YES, but since I have no idea where either candidate currently stands, I am fearful as to what that impact might be.

A4:  We need to invite politicians into our schools, tell them our story!  Maybe a shadow day for them with our Ss.

A4: I try to inform those not in the classroom everyday the truth that great things are happening

A4 Advocates! Make sure all that is good in education is being shown...

A4:We must stay abreast of those issues that will impact education. We also MUST put a voice to our thoughts, ideas & concerns.

A4: We as Ts need to not lie down and allow politicians to say that schools are terrible when they've never set foot in the door

  Is that the NEA affiliate? We have the NSEA in NE- they send out newsletters keeping Ts informed.

A6: I actually read the ADE Commissioner's memos ; you can sign up now for daily updates

 A7 Regurgitations of what their parents say. Seen some depth from higher level students in certain AP classes.

A7:  Hopefully candidates realize that our Ss are 100% of our future

 A7: My 11 year old says we are in trouble with either candidate.

A7: Today I heard an argument about raising min wage & several comments about "nasty women"

A7 My 12-year old: I don't get why boys keep saying they like Trump...they obviously don't see how disrespectful he is to women!
