A1: This year, I wrote out a timeline and steps of what Iām going to accomplish this year! Usually, I write them down and never look at it again. Iām going to journal and sketchnote my way through the year! Iām even having my students for it too! #ditchbook

Q1 - my friends and I did a pretty effective exercise on NYE - we came up with resolutions by discrete category - eg instead of "being healthy" we came up w a resolution specifically about fruits or vegetables. Forced you to focus=interesting and doable. #ditchbook

Find an existing habit/recurring event. Add a new habit to it so the new habit will have a trigger.

A2. We are using My Maps or Tour Builder to go on a Colonial Adventure of a life time. And yesterday a Ss was drawing his composter in Google Draw and said "I have never used this before. I have no idea what I am doing. But Look! It is pretty good!" #DitchBook

A1 I donāt like the word resolution, I prefer making an intention and it should be something realistic and obtainableābut involve a habit change. Intention allows you to revisit it if you wander a bit. Mine is to blog once a week. #Ditchbook

A2 I really like looking through @cultofpedagogyās Teacherās Guide to Tech. It gives an overview of each tool as well as reasons for using it and much more. Iāve learned about so much great technology that students can use in it. #Ditchbook
A2: My students use a googlesite they've created as their Learning Hub -- they share all the things they are learning - including their passion projects and their work on their creed. #ditchbook

A3: I used to be 100% in the Google Slides camp, but after watching @tonyvincent in the #ditchsummit, I am leaning back into Google Drawings. So much potential for creation in each of them, but I like the open space "border" that Drawings provides. #ditchbook
Agree! But the bigger problem is the equity issue that exists now between what Ts are doing with Ss and what others are not. The digital divide has shifted is more about exposure than machines #DitchBook

A3: I started the yr intending on integrating 2 big ideas: aquarium & cooking. School set up a PBL workshop this month led by a special educator. So I think my 'resolve' is to dive deep into things and integrate. #ditchbook

#DitchBook A4 Success in the goals that I have for the educators and learners in my school is growth, but not a growth that's easily measured. The best way to see it is to watch for the ripples... Are they spreading?

I keep joking to my kids (who I don't let play fortnite, because of their age) that one day we're going to play forKnite. Everything we eat, must be consumed with a fork. Soup? fork. cereal? fork. pudding? fork. #DitchBook
