A1: attended the CSU San Bernardino Palm Desert location as an EdCamp specialist - one of my biggest take-aways was that it is evident that Ts need these platforms for continuous support #BetterTogetherCA
Toward the tail-end of the Summit, I also saw @Kestyland serve on a panel of teachers called upon to answer a number of q's, the whole thing live streamed state-wide. Nice work, Sarah. #bettertogetherca

My biggest takeaway, the more and more teachers are getting it today . . . that education is changing greatly and that a day of free PD helps teachers adjust to that change. #BetterTogetherCA
A2: I'm also the Instructional Coach. In May, Ts chose their own PD topics to pursue for this coming year. I put them in groups and I'm helping to gather resources. The Ts in the room will become the experts! #BetterTogetherCA

I did attend the summit in West LA / Pepperdine ... my biggest takeaway was collaboration is the key for creating a better educational system that works for every child - the more we talk, the more kids walk (@ graduation) =) #bettertogetherca
Q2. I'm thinking about writing an article describing how the cell phone in rush hour traffic can prove a great form of free PD. In other words, thank you @scottmpetri@RewardingEdu@Curiosity_Films and others for taking my calls. I learn much from our talks #bettertogetherca
Sounds like there are some common themes around staying connected to fellow Ts via phone, twitter, etc. to keep the learning, inspiration, and support going all year round! #BetterTogetherCA

great question! for me I think it's about sharing and having an open door - be careful about how and what you say bc some Ts might feel that you are comparing or that they are not good enough #BetterTogetherCA
A3: for personalized learning I'm going to try to commit to 2 things: twitter and reading - I had no idea until a year ago that there were so many relevant books out there for Ts #BetterTogetherCA
A3: Ts will define their own "why" on the first day of PD - and they'll begin to think about how they will implement what they've learned and how they want to share results. They will own it - not me or admin. #BetterTogetherCA
yes...my door is literally almost always open and I try to share as much as I can without being too scary or intimidating - Practice doesn't always make perfect, but it does get you better at whatever it may be #BetterTogetherCA
A3: I am working to develop a senior Passion Project capstone course for my school this year. I am going to need to make some connections with experts in economics, entrepreneurship and design thinking. #BetterTogetherCA

My first year, they put me on the curriculum adoption committee, partly because no one wanted to do it. Ultra organized, detail oriented me, child of 2 teachers, soaked it all in! #BetterTogetherCA
I worked on a project for a district leadership program I was in this year and my focus was on accommodations for students in regards to tech (due to the CAASP) - I learned a lot about what is offered and that Ss are supposed to be using these throughout the yr #BetterTogetherCA
