We had 5th gr book clubs reading Out of My Mind for the past couple months. My book club met for our last get together on Friday and had a party. We talked about life lessons, impactful teachers from k-5, and how to navigate middle school. ❤️ them! #tlap
A6: My 6th graders move up to the MS, so I try all year to remind them they are each special and to be themselves. And to most of all, be kind. (Well, that and to use common sense…) #TLAP

A7: I wrote each of my students a letter and I mail t to them. I also give each of them cute stationary and pens with a stamped envelope to write me a letter over the summer. I respond to all the ones I receive! #tlap
A6 I find that the best way to inspire is to reflect. Reflect on what worked what didn’t and asking for feedback. I do it and my kids have learned to do the same. #tlap
A7: I love to take pics. Each year I like to take pics of the Ss with their friends in their caps and gowns. We do a photo booth type photo shoot. Lots of emotions on the last day as the Ss leave the district. #TLAP

A6: We had a big focus on social emotional learning this year. My colleague @missmarino_ shared a great idea to celebrate each student leading up to the last day. We share at morning circle something positive about the student and record it for them. Kindness counts! #tlap
