Good morning, all sorry for the lateness.
All my stuff in Classroom didn't drag anything home to grade projects over break
A4: 1. Faculty study of Laudato Si; 2. Used ideas from to simplify office; 3. Promote S responsibility.

sore, they're doing good work . I want to get beyond patches & help find the next 100 yr model for CE
Yeah ... no problem to do that ;)
Welcome and Happy New Yar, Jim!
I can do that in Blackboard but it has quirks.

A2 Working on completely revising our schedule and discuss grading
Q5 - How can you make setting New Year’s Resolutions/goals a positive skill-building activity for students?
A4 Scenarios & case studies. Engaging learners via context-rich micro narratives. The whole "more than 1 right answer" thing
a4 having experienced student bloggers teach inexperienced, scheduling & using more body breaks, implementing daily 5
Nothing is perfect, but I have been able to use Classroom so easily and Free!
A4 Since not in school, personally reconnecting w/ ya bk committee for state bk award
I just like my students too much-have a hard time getting angry.
there is a whole idea of whether force has will that makes great discussion starter in confirmation
Good day ! I'm dual-enrolled in this morning.
Is it something you could replicate for us in San Diego in March ;)
Well now that you have some free time :-)
A5 Great opportunity to discuss/learn about SMART goals
Better get a bigger grant.
A5 By modeling learning and goal setting for myself. Letting SS know and understand learning is forever a process.
A5: Share your goals, as well as the struggle and successes in meeting them. Remind students that you're still learning too.
A5 Empower them. Let them see their value in the positive change.
Diocese of Jeff City is still tithing-based; no tuition for active parish families. Wish every diocese was.
A4: Develop university partnership to reflect a K-16 perspective.
im out in march. didnt get a single presentation accepted. :( it was a rough day :)
I ran across something interesting about scheduling... It was about a 4 day schedule (5 day week though....)
A5 Make a New Year’s resolution as a class
That is an awesome plan! So many schools struggling with this
A5 - I share my goals with my students! We post them all on the walls outside for all to see.
A5: Scaffolding goals, i.e. When you do A, make an A.5 to complete instead of a totally separate goal
Great angle. Our will, God's will. "Use the force" is a category mistake.
A3 How to be good digital citizens
a5 last year I used one word and it worked well with most kids so I will do,it again. We spent a week brainstorming words
A3: embracing power & seeing learning in asking new & different questions & being bold enough to ask those new questions
international PD! ireland, scotland, kentucky....theyll need a bigger room

A5- treat like exam of conscience from previous year-what ways is God calling me to grow this year compared to last year
whole lot easier than trying to explain what mitichlorians are :)
A5: I like Barb's idea to post goals. That's what we're doing at my house! Good morning btw
A4 Creating an entrepreneurial environment for my Ts so they are willing to try new ways of teaching.
morning! I also include my step and food choice goals!
A5 I'm learning about how to phrase/ask essential question. Helping Ss ask theirs is a good start. Ask it. Own it. Do it.
A5 love the one word idea, also a fan of putting goals on list. Want kids to know if fail at a goal to keep trying
that sounds interesting. We've had a 6 day schedule forever!
A5 i like discussion of resolution more than resolutions themselves. Personal, reflective, improving, tough, long range.
A5 Focus on the Year of Mercy and creating goals that meet the corporal or spiritual works of mercy
I haven't but I will check it out very soon.
It makes complete sense on paper.... how does it work in real life?
Feeling tensions here in Chi too, espc at K-8 parish schools.
I wonder. I wonder if people see "will" outside of theology class. Tend to confuse desire, will.
Coming up in one minute, Question 6!
Who is the Patron Saint of film and media arts?
Our culture is great at stoking, churning desire; helping build strong, good will - not so much.
i may need a drink after that session. ;)
Q5: viewing goal setting & goal achieving & the consistent effort/awareness it takes is great lesson 4 everyone -takes work!
Q6 - What are your professional New Year resolutions (you can add your personal resolutions if you want too!)?
I may need a wheelbarrow after that session!
even the idea of force as it changed from 1st to 2nd trilogy. Force as guide vs Force as power
6 day schedule works well, varies what is missed when we have early dismissals or long weekends
this is also where it is key to watch the "economies of scale" talk vs. dehumanizing
A6 To go back to reading more and binge watching less.
A6 Professional-add Instructional Technologist certification Personal-exercise
I bet can help you with that Saint!
A6: to not feel pressured to have one.
I am adding this to my book list!
A6: Offer more classes for teachers, write more, attend ISTE conference in Denver.
A6 Empowering myself to try new things, not be intimidated by negative people and not being afraid to fail.
and our culture is loathe to admit there's a feelings-contradicting force w/ an agenda, might guide history!

this hour always goes fast!

A7 - finances to get to workshops and training. Earnings as presenter are allowing me to add some things in
A7 Dunno that it's a hold-back. Time. What might matter more to others? When I can answer that.. .
A7: I'm very nervous about sharing my ideas, struggles, and successes. It holds me back from presenting outside of my school
A7 Time. I need to organize and prioritize work to get more done.
A7 I hold myself back. Lack of confidence in myself.
A6 Awareness to prof. goals of curr. design & data reporting yet offering loving response to all who walk in the door :-)
A7 - working on putting myself out there for new opportunities this year ... scary but worthwhile
we start on Tues after labour day, that is day 1, so Fri is day 4, next Mon is day 5, Tues day 6, repeats 1/2
A7 the dark side of listening to those negative voices that resist change. But still trusting https://t.co/viHJFdrBlh
This is awesome!!! Going to have a student do a story on this for the show
I am as well - let me know what you think

A7 the dark side of listening to those negative voices that resist change. But still trusting https://t.co/viHJFdrBlh
