The #INeLearn hashtag is used for both asynchronous sharing and synchronous conversations. Include #INeLearn in your tweets if you want to share resources or questions with Indiana educators and school leaders. Asynchronously, the #INeLearn hashtag provides educators across the state of Indiana a central space for sharing. On Thursday evenings beginning at 8 CST/9 EST when you use the #INeLearn hashtag, you are joining a live conversation--the #INeLearn Twitter Chat. For one hour, we interact in real time having a virtual discussion.
Hey friends! I'm Kathryn and I am a preservice teacher about to start my student teaching at @BV_Bulldogs in January! Thank you for chatting with us tonight! #INeLearn
Hi! I am Elizabeth Schack, a junior from @IUSchoolofEd! I want to teach HS world history with a license addition in computer science education! #INeLearn
Hey! I'm Becca, a senior with @IUSchoolofEd about to student teach in Grade 4 next semester. I'm a computer educator also student teaching in New Zealand! #INeLearn
R1: Variety! Variety of tools, seating, and work spaces that offer opportunities for creation, collaboration, and global connection over consumption. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#EDW200
R1: I would love to have multiple forms of technology- iPads, robotics, tools like @ClassDojo and more! I might make this a reality by starting with one and gradually adding more as a new teacher #INeLearn
R1: My ideal technology rich classroom would be 1 to 1 and also include a maker space! I would make this possible by creating a grant proposal to my school administration discussing why it would be beneficial for my students #inelearn
R1: My ideal one would include technology that would enrich already well developed lessons. To make this a reality I would spend lots of time testing technologies to ensure that they will actually be useful. #INeLearn
R1: My ideal classroom would include technologies that get the students active and moving. Also, technologies that let students learn through play. #INeLearn
R1: Centered around student choice! So for me, that would look like lots of different app and technology possibilities, especially ones that allow for student creation and production! #INeLearn
Kevin Schamel | eLearning Specialist | Richmond Community Schools excited for these amazing preservice Ts to become part of the biggest teachers lounge on earth = Twitter! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R1: My ideal tech-rich classroom has devices of different kinds to allow for choice, space to get moving around in and regrouped in different formations for project groups! Making it a reality is a good question, though. #INeLearn
R1: Lots of flexibility and creativity!! I want my students to be able to have many choices for when they are using technology in the beginning! #INeLearn
R1: Ss using technology to collaborate ideas with one another with inquiry-based learning projects. Writing grant proposals/asking for donations to create a technology rich classroom #INeLearn
R1 My idea tech-rich classroom allows anyone at anytime to connect, collaborate, and create. It begins with a mindset and shift in how you think about school #INeLearn
R1: Variety! Variety of tools, seating, and work spaces that offer opportunities for creation, collaboration, and global connection over consumption. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#EDW200
Kevin Schamel | eLearning Specialist | Richmond Community Schools excited for these amazing preservice Ts to become part of the biggest teachers lounge on earth = Twitter! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R1: I love classroom with flexible learning spaces, the ability to ubiquitously use technology to engage Ss - tech is integral and not separate #INeLearn
A1: my ideal classroom would be 1:1 and include differentiation for each student. Giving Ss options to be assessed & take charge of their own learning is extremely important to me! #INeLearn
Choice is huge for students and technology can definitely offer this for students! Also, love that lots of space is great for students so that they can get up and move around! Keep them active! #INeLearn
R1: Adjustable seating for the day, charging stations, Video booths, multiple presentation stations, drawing pads with projection, 100% interconnected within the room #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen
A1: devices for all students ( without having to check out the cart) more space to move around, dry erase areas, so many options running through my mind.... #rcsnextgen#INeLearn
R1: a variety of devices, from iPads to laptops/chrome books as well as desktop work stations for advanced production and editing! No work assigned will dictate the tech used - outcome is shared and Ss choose whether, when and how to use tech to complete! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R1 I would caution against purchasing devices without working with your school/district tech leadership team. You want to be supported and sustainable #INeLearn
Adjustable seating is huge!!! Kids need to be able to move around to keep them focused and interested in learning. I've seen a lot of teachers have success with flexible seating! #INeLearn
That's a very open-ended question. Hard to answer it without knowing the kids themselves, what's in their IEPs, whether you have English language learners, kids with physical accessibility concerns. All can be differentiated for, but there's no catch-all answer. #INeLearn
I've missed #inelearn chat tonight but my FINAL assignment for school (minus the final exam I can't take for another week) is finished and submitted! One semester of grad school down! 3 more to go! #dreams#chasingthem
R2: Engage in a PLN. Find a blog to love (mine is freetech4teachers). Try out everything. Don't be afraid to fail. Always ask = how does this improve teaching/learning #INeLearn
R1: Enough variety in the tech that the needs of Ss can be met given what they are looking to create. The less barriers in their way the more opportunityto create. #RCSeLearn#rcsnextgen#inelearn
R2: I rely on word of mouth and forums that list new tools for the classroom. Often I try to find tools that I am familiar with their UI or operating system #INeLearn
R1: Then I’m gonna create a monster #PBL activity that will use all of my gizmos and give Ss the skills to be #NOWReady and #FutureReady by integrating 5Cs #INeLearn
I've missed #inelearn chat tonight but my FINAL assignment for school (minus the final exam I can't take for another week) is finished and submitted! One semester of grad school down! 3 more to go! #dreams#chasingthem
R2: Using my PLN to collaborate with teachers to find new tech is always a good idea! I will eval by seeing if it’s engaging, easy to implement, and meets student needs #INeLearn
R2: Stay educated. Read blogs. Follow professionals. Most of the time, dozens of people in your extended global professional learning network have already found the pitfalls and/or ideas for use that you would have had to stumble through on your own. #INeLearn
R2: I believe that testing out the tools is the best way to evaluate technology because only you will know what works best for your classroom/students! #inelearn
R2: I think the best way to evaluate new technology is to develop your own rubric. Only the teachers know what they need out of their technology so it's important to develop your own evaluation method that fits you. #INeLearn
R2: I think it is important to ask the opinion of other teachers that have used it before. It could look really great when you research online but it could work completely differently in your room. You never know! #INeLearn
R2- Alignment with a common goal or purpose. Making sure all stakeholders are taken into consideration. Tech must be sustainable, integrated, and supported. Always check terms and conditions #safetyfirst#INeLearn
R2: Loving @LaurenGlynn6's idea of collaboration. Finding out if technology tools work across different subjects and grade levels is so important for determining the overall value of a tool. #INeLearn
R2. Asking Ss what they like and don't like about some technologies, blogs, peers' feedback, but most importantly research and see if it is sustainable! #inelearn
R2: Asking other professionals what technology devices they find most useful in their classroom/using the Internet to research best tech tools #INeLearn
R2: We're using it now. I found out about @padlet and @Flipgrid using twitter! I've had conversations with people who use google and chromebooks, pros and cons. Plenty of people using new tools and providing feedback. Grow that PLN! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen
R2: The most effective ways to find new technology is to research from others who have used the technology and see how it was beneficial to the classroom and students learning. Then to slowly integrate into the classroom to ensure it is successful #IneLearn
R2 Finding is the easy part when you are connected to learning networks like #INeLearn - evaluating is a bit trickier. Many orgs have developed rubrics to guide decisions. Student privacy has to be considered. #INeLearn
R2: I like using SAMR in my planning...what am I trying to use the tech for?! Is it a sub for something else or does it truly engage, enhance and redesign the lesson #INeLearn
R2: I have used @edshelf to search for and read reviews from educators about the quality of apps. Honestly, there are not shortcuts- you just have to make time to P.L.A.Y. (Practice and Learning Advances You) credit @Holly_Stachler#INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R2: Have an eLearning team that can support, Test-drive and share with Ts new tech. based on their instructional needs and the needs of their Ss. #RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#inelearn
R2b: Also, don't ever be afraid to discover something new and dive into it. Take it for some live action run in the classroom and take student feedback #INeLearn#RCSNextGen#RCSeLearn
R2b: in the spirit of this question, do yourself a favor and check out @TinyTapit to easily create your own educational apps for your students- no coding needing!!! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R2 A valuable resource from the US DOE: Educational Technology Rapid Cycle Evaluations - Office of Educational Technology https://t.co/acALHZ9OFC#INeLearn
R2: I have used @edshelf to search for and read reviews from educators about the quality of apps. Honestly, there are not shortcuts- you just have to make time to P.L.A.Y. (Practice and Learning Advances You) credit @Holly_Stachler#INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R3: In my future classroom, I can see myself relying a lot on my coach or colleagues to figure out things until I feel comfortable with my own style! #INeLearn
R3: I don’t have my classroom yet, but whenever there are tech challenges in the field I think quick on my feet to find a solution for the situation. Tech doesn't always work the way we want it to, especially in the classroom #INeLearn
R3: Always have a plan B! Expect issues, handle it as an example to your students, show off that fail forward, growth mindset mentality. If students are working on passion projects - they will find a way (even if delayed momentarily). #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#EDW200
R3: As a preservice teacher, I haven't had much experience in schools. However, I think it's important to always stay flexible when working with technology and ALWAYS have a backup plan. Even after testing technology multiple times... it can still fail when you need it. #INeLearn
R3. Never be afraid to ask for help, always have an unplugged back up plan, and you may not know the answer in the moment but all you do need to know is how to problem solve! #inelearn
R3: I think the first step is being OK with technology challenges and failures happening in the classroom (since they always do), and then using them as learning opportunities for ourselves and our students. #INeLearn
R3: I generally try to trouble shoot in the moment unless it takes away valuable lesson time. Have a plan B in case trouble shooting is unable #INeLearn
R3b: If it's about keeping students' attention with tech being in the room, it's a constant reminder for your lesson to hook them more than the tech does. It's a lesson that's hit hard the last couple of days in my classroom. If you phone it in, they know. #INeLearn
A3 since I’m not 1:1 students use @CanvasLMS in centers, along with @PlayOsmo and I in corporate others into the rotations to finish out the number of stations needed. #rcsnextgen#INeLearn
R3: I will overcome technology challenges by using a variety of resources and finding the tools that work best for my class and working with other teachers to improve technology use in my classroom #inelearn
R3: I plan on relying on other teachers/coaches in the building to help with problems! On the other side it is always important to plan a backup incase of a sudden issue... like wifi #inelearn
R3: The man himself @arnoldtimw nailing it. Couldn't say it better myself. The key in this is finding those passion projects - they'll find a way, even if it's a tech break to brainstorm or think #RCSeLearn#INeLearn#RCSNextGen
R3: Always have a plan B! Expect issues, handle it as an example to your students, show off that fail forward, growth mindset mentality. If students are working on passion projects - they will find a way (even if delayed momentarily). #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#EDW200
R3: Know going in there is a potential for issues to arise. Have patience & a plan. Embrace the problem and use those moments as learning opportunities for you and Ss. Looking to the Ss for assistance isn’t bad idea either. #inelearn#RCSeLearn
R3: Have to keep at it. Have a plan b, and c, and d. As the models for continuous learning that we should be for our Ss, we must demonstrate digital resiliency when there are issues. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
I would use a google form for HS Ss! For elementary you could always have them rate their feelings about technology using smiley faces representing emotions! #INeLearn
R3: My job right now is to help show teachers the value and the why. I think so many feel that they need to use technology just because they are supposed to. Challenge is to get them to understand when it fits in lesson. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
A common challenge is Ss distraction or off-task--those who know me know I will say the solution is creating a culture of digital leadership #INeLearn Teach #DigCit
It is so valuable to show teachers how to use the technology, why they should use it, and the benefits of using it! Technology being thrown at teachers can be difficult! They need the extra help! #INeLearn
R4: I have had a lot of success with Green Screen and 3D printing! I taught 5th graders how to use Green Screen and even the ones who do not normally participate were so excited! #INeLearn
R3: when technology fails, oftentimes, my students and I figure it out together. As I am learning, Ss are also my teachers. If we can’t figure it out, Plan B is standards based math games, and small group instruction. #successatcys#INeLearn
R4: iPads are most popular from what I’ve noticed. Ss love the apps that you can use to create presentations, practice/drill, & the independence! Also @codeorg to teach Ss about coding- there's Minecraft, Frozen, Angry Bird & more so Ss feel like they’re playing games #INeLearn
R4: iPads + Nearpod + Classflow = engaged students! Use ready made lessons until you feel comfortable creating your own designs. Ss design also! #INeLearn
R4: I've had a lot of success with IXL. Students have been able to get instant feedback on their proficiency with algebra concepts. Canvas has been great as a hub for all of it as well. #INeLearn
R4: Tools that offer choice in explaining (Infographics), tools that offer variety for presenting (iMovie, WeVideo, Touchcast), tools that are interactive (Kahoot, Padlet, HP5). #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen#EDW200
R4: @nearpod for sure! Can transform a simple presentation into an interactive, engaging experience. Perfect for formative assessments as well! #INeLearn
#INeLearn A4. We use Skype/FaceTime and Hangouts to bring primary source speakers into our classrooms. Started with our 1980s class. Engages our students as they share their stories with them. Here are some of speakers.
R4. I love @piktochart and @AdobeSpark to create interactive images and infographics for the students! They present information in a fun, new, and different way! #inelearn
R4: I've had a lot of success with https://t.co/BiPFQ1joef. I think the unplugged lessons are great, especially since they don't require tech to learn about tech. This helps with running into technological issues that can pop up when using tech with a large group of Ss. #INeLearn
I have had the most success with different apps on iPads. I also love using @piktochart super easy to use and always fun to work with! Kids love both of these #inelearn
R4: @nearpod for sure! Can transform a simple presentation into an interactive, engaging experience. Perfect for formative assessments as well! #INeLearn
R4: We have done some fun stuff with green screen apps this year, but #flipgrid is our go to. So many awesome things happening with @flipgrid! #INeLearn
R4: I have a sweet spot for doing anything with robots! The kids really love it and there are SO many ways that you can integrate them in your room! #INeLearn
R4: @breakoutEDU has inspired me lately both tactile problem-solving and digital breakouts! Love the research and challenge-based learning involved #INeLearn
R4: from beginning to end? Angel, Classroom Performance Systems, Smart Boards, @CanvasLMS@Flipgrid, @1stmakerspace 3D printers, @GetKahoot, etc. Each had/has its unique ability to engage Ss in learning. #INeLearn
A4 Ollie and sphero the kids ❤️ them and are engaged with them but also they are telling it what to do instead of me telling them what to do along with problem solving and team work #rcsnextgen#INeLearn
R4: With a focus on second grade, I have had the most success with using dash & dot and scratch when getting students excited about using technology #inelearn
#inelearn A4 We have brought the world to our Students through @Skype visits around the world. Our Ss have been to Sweden, Russia and Canada. Our 2-3 Grades will visit Israel in a few weeks.
R4: Considering giving Ss voice, choice & the ability to create...you can’t go wrong with a tool that incorporates video. There is also something inspiring about being able to use video to provide timely/effective/meaningful feedback. #rcselearn#inelearn
R4: I try to use multiple in one go. Such as if We're going to be presenting for example - Let's use Smore, Sway, Padlet, etc, give them the choice. Choice is key to me, they own how they want to do it. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen
R4: Canvas - The Ss and Ts have gone beyond our expectations in utilizing this LMS for educational and communication purposes at #weRrhs. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R4: I love https://t.co/0wcetQ1BVJ and developing engaging tasks to teach my Ts for their classes. They release new things almost monthly that we can embed in @CanvasLMS. #INeLearn
R4 I'm seeing so many tweets that make me nod my head. I'll add Google Suite-anything GAFE. And tools like Dotstorming, Diigo, and Adobe Spark #INeLearn
R4: It didn’t work out the way I wanted for our Renaissance art gallery, but I’m working on incorporating @aurasma more to bring primary sources to life #INeLearn
R5: Assign/Allow projects, assignments that are personally relevant and you will tear down the school walls as the only place of learning. Parents will notice! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R5: To support students outside of the classroom, it is a good approach to give students a personal laptop for the year that they must return. This can be monitored with a documented contract #INeLearn
#INeLearn A4 Here is our story about 1980 Olympic Hockey Captain Mike Eruzione. Helped Ss understand the greatest sports upset in history.
https://t.co/9jMOLVu7SN
R5. Since not all students may have access to physical electronic technology Ts can always have students complete unplugged assignments in order to gain a deeper understanding of what technology can teach us #inelearn
R5: I think it is important to provide multiple ways that Ss can access things like this. Even having things after school once a week would be helpful for them! #INeLearn
I learned about it at HECC last year and it was a way for me to help my Elementary Ts take station worksheets and creat drag and drop, fill in blank, hotspots, etc and put in Canvas. I truly love it! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R5: send a list/packet of online resources/tech reccommendations home with the parents. potentially assign 20 min of edu tech times at home with the resources provided, see where it takes them #INelearn
R5: I think offering an after school hour, or recess/lunch hour, for students to be able to use the resources at schools that they might not be able to take home is a great way to allow student to have more time with them is great! #INeLearn
R5: Students can be supported outside of the classroom with after school technology clubs or maker spaces! This way they do not have to have wifi at home to participate and everyone is included! #inelearn
R5: If we have equipped our Ss with dig cit lessons, and if our tech rich daily lessons encourage critical thinking, Ed tech will continue outside the classroom. #INeLearn
Parents will support what doesnt cause a "fight" at home. My students ask to take things home. They go to each others houses. When parents see there is no battle... #INeLearn
R5. Since all students may not have access to physical electronic technology Ts can always have students complete unplugged assignments in order to gain a deeper understanding of what technology can teach us #inelearn#inelearn
R5: Provide resources to where Ss can access tech outside of school like community libraries or checking out tools through the school. It’s important to remember that not every student always has access to tech outside of school #INeLearn
R5: Sending home a newsletter that lists various tech tools that can enhance and support learning/leaving classroom open after hours so students can stay after school and use the technology available to them #INeLearn
R5 I LOVE this question. It gets to the heart of home/school partnership. It is important that we support parents in this shift and foster advocates for digital learning and leadership #INeLearn
R5: Don’t ask Ss to complete activities or use tools on their own that they have not received ample guided experience with while at school. Especially important as Ts begin developing eLearning Day lessons!! I also know of some Ts that hold virtual office hours #INeLearn
R5: School sponsored STEM nights can also be a great way to support technology use outside of school because it can also educate the parents about technology! #INeLearn
R5 - An LMS that hosts your curriculum and is an extension of the classroom. Clear ways to communicate. Teaching students how to find valid sources in the sea of information. #INeLearn
R5: Students can get more technology use after school by creating a check out system that allows students to take them home or providing time after school for students to stay and use the tools on their own time #inelearn
R5: I have provided multiple ways for Ss to contact me. If they have ?s at night, they can message me via Twitter, or @CanvasLMS, or @remind101, or email. Provide experience in class. Lots of ways to support outside. #INeLearn
R5: Be available. RCS uses @CanvasLMS and my students can connect with me anytime. Easy to respond and support from the app on my phone. Just not after nine most nights - hibernation time! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen
Try to use resources that can be used at home. Students, like us, learn a lot when they just get a chance to work with a tool with no pressure. #INeLearn
R5: we are no longer the 8-3:30 educator of Ss. With our network ability, we truly can connect with Ss 24/7. I can sit on my couch, watch football, and answer ?s of my Ss. #INeLearn
R5 make it something he students want to learn about/ meaningful for what is being taught in the class, ensure all students know how to access and that it is “review material /not new or worksheets #rcsnexgen#inelearn
#INeLearn Wanted to share one more thing about speakers. Invite them into class. We were fortunate to have Mr. Philo Barnhart and Mr. Charles Moisant join us. Mr. Barnhart was the creator of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and worked on other Disney films.
R6: 1 on 1 or small groups. Large groups have too many levels of ability and interest to be effective. "Lunch and Learn" "Appy Hours" PLC's #RCSeLearn#INeLearn
I love to hear that!! I definitely want to make that an option in my future classroom. Definitely during lunch and after school when available. #INeLearn
R5: I think it's key to make sure that our parents have access to major resources. That way the tech education, esp. re: digital citizenship can continue at home. #INeLearn
R6: PD that is interactive and happens multiple times throughout the year. If it is one and done, the time spent is not used the most effectively #INeLearn
R6- I love experiencing it as a student would and then having time to play and support for questions. Twitter and YouTube are pretty fantastic too. #INeLearn#activelearning
R6: Teacher collaboration time using Tech and Digital Tools. We're Teachers, we're all nerds at heart. When we have dedicated time to learn from each other, awesome stuff can happen #INeLearn#RCSeLearn#RCSNextGen
R6: The #RCSNextGen Cadre Approach has shown great benefits. By building pockets of support throughout the system we are creating a built in PD network. #RCSeLearn#inelearn
R6: I went to a STEM night at Lakeview Elementary last year to teach students how to use the EV3 robot and it was so much fun! It was beneficial for me because I got to interact with all ages and see what interests them most! #inelearn
R6 PD needs to include sandbox time to play w/ tech - share ideas with fellow staff members - work collaboratively to develop best learning opportunity for Ss #inelearn
#INeLearn A6 Attend an Indiana Summer of eLearning Conference. Each site has great speakers and breakout sessions. Also, go to a presentation by @jmattmiller!
R6 Still one of my top 3 PD experiences was Google Teacher (Innovator) Academy. EVERY person in the room wanted to be there and was excited to learn; even when it was challenging #INeLearn
R6: The best type of PD would be where all ideas are taken into account and there are hands-on activities and questions. Sitting and being told what to do is not effective #INeLearn
R6: You must have the ability to do something, not “SitNGit”. I always provide an opportunity for Ts to experience whatever the PD is instead of sit there and be bored. #INeLearn
R6:I really try to ask my Principals when I have PD to make groups smaller. I normally reach out to others in th ebuilding os we can have at least 3 groups and Ts have choice in their learning. Smaller groups=more learning, individualized #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R6: Anything personalized. PD has been great the more I've gone and found the PD that I need. And anything Angela Watson puts together is just absolutely phenomenal. #INeLearn
R6: Small group or individual. Also much more effectively when there is a relevant need. I learn more from PD that I want to attend because I have an immediate need or interest. With tech, providing time to actually use the tool with support from facilitators is great #INeLearn
R6B: Currently running Coaching Cycles with multiple teachers 1 on 1 -but they have to share out with a colleague. One is designing a mastery path PD in Canvas! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R6: I like keeping up on tech that students are interested. Things are always developing and can be used in lessons! I think it's important to have students be engaged and they want to use updated things they use regularly. #INeLearn
The ideal learning experience would not be a one size fits all. Just as we need to meet our S's indiv needs, we need to do that for our prof colleagues #INeLearn
R7: Develop grit and resiliency! If what you are doing is good for kids -do it with no excuses. Some will follow, some will ignore - that's about them, not you! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R6: I was in a PD one time where the leader said "This is what Moodle will do, but I can't show it to you because I can't load it here" #thanksnothanks#inelearn
#INeLearn A7 Don’t be afraid to incorporate new ideas. In 2013, I made a decision to seek out speakers and it paid off. Join Twitter chats and learn what others are doing in their class. We are all in this together!
R7: You'll hear it all the time, but the technology is secondary to the instruction. Whatever you do, don't let the shiny tech distract from what students are meant to be learning. Some things are still awesome as analog! #INeLearn
R7: Join the #eduCEL program! But since you've already done that, keep growing your PLN and taking every opportunity to learn, have field experiences, observe, and see as many of the awesome #INeLearn teachers in action as possible.
A7 be Willing to step out of your comfort zone. Your students will back you up and help they just want to see you try. Goi out on the edge and take the dive. Even if it doesn’t go well.. there’s always tomorrow... #failforward#RCSNextGen#inelearn
R7: learn with your Ss. Don’t be afraid to have “unexpected results to expected events” (my phrase for failure). Evaluations are not something you should fear if you try something new. Go for it! It’s for your Ss. #INeLearn
Oh, tweeted without introducing! Hello #inelearn, Matt here! Career HS Spanish teacher, now #ditchbook guy. Long time #inelearn fan. Good to be back with you all!
R7: Visit master teachers using tech tools to engage learners. Ask Ts and Ss lots of questions about what works and gets results. Let Ss teach and guide you. #INeLearn
R7 Remember that technology is any tool that helps you complete a task - a pencil is technology - do not use technology just to be using technology #inelearn
R7. The best advice I've ever received is to not be afraid to try new technologies or lessons in the classroom! It may work great or not so well, but then you'll know how to improve for next time! #inelearn
R7: Know that when something fails, it's a great opportunity to learn what works for you and your students! #INeLearn Be open to change and willing to learn!
R7: Never stop learning-read-stay passionate, curious, and willing to take risks with latest research to engage Ss in their learning. #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
R7: Don't feel like you have to teach a certain way because that's the way it's been done. Make your own way. There are lots of paths to success! #inelearn
R7: best advice I can give is that teaching is about kids/relationships first...content and technology, etc. add to the fun! Don’t focus so much on tech that you forget your WHY! #INeLearn
@jmattmiller Very excited to have Michael Dukakis joining our 1980s class this coming Monday for a phone interview. @1988project working his magic! #INeLearn
.@IUSchoolofEd Check out our amazing #eduCEL preservice teachers that hosted a chat for #INeLearn and the Department of Education's eLearning division!! Amazing!! #soproud
I agree! You want to surround yourself with a positive mindset. You also want people who will push your thinking. We grow through questioning. #INeLearn

Thank you everyone for your responses and participation in the #INeLearn twitter chat. It was so great getting to see your tweets and ideas throughout the chat. Good luck with the rest of your school years. #INeLearn
I would like to officially announce that I have also turned down the University of Tennessee Head Football Coach position! But, seriously - It's been fun to learn with you all tonight! Best of luck! #INeLearn#RCSeLearn
#INeLearn Thanks to the @IUSchoolofEd students tonight for participating. Great questions. As always, thanks for sharing new ideas. I am always learning and sharing with our staff at North White!
Best of luck pre-service Ts. Reach out to any of us moving forward. Continue to hang out with us each week. We like having different perspectives. #INeLearn
Again, thanks to @ETRoundup's class. You are always welcome to join #INeLearn. Thanks to the network for coming out tonight and supporting our future colleagues!
