    A5: One of my favorite things to do at the beginning of the year is to get each student to secretly choose one song to represent/define them. I download them all and then we listen to one a day at pack up as we try to guess "who's song it is?" #tlap

      Yes! In English class we talked about the symbolism of different Snapchat filters and in geography students looked at geographical terrain in fortnite. There are lots of ways to use what they love. Teach through love/ student passion and they will never forget the lesson.

    A6: Through #globalcollaboration, my Ss have been able to connect w/ over 33 states & 3 countries, with more to come! They’ve had cultural experiences, participated in learning challenges, & even interviewed authors! It’s been an EPIC learning adventure! #TLAP

    A5:Greet kids EVERY morning w/ hugs, fist bumps, music, dancing, conga line, limbo. Eat lunch w/kids. Play w/them at recess. Go to their extracurricular activities after and outside of school. It’s so fun to watch kids “do their thing” and builds long lasting relationships. #TLAP

    A5: I visited several classrooms in New Zealand that had morning meetings and reflection time at the end of the day every day. They invited Ss to answer Qs like "What risk did you take in how you learned today?" Ss did a pair/share and then reflected with the whole class. #TLAP
