A2: My district is focusing on using close reading to improve literacy across all grade levels. I've been working hard this summer to be a close reading expert so I can support teachers! I just finished a book about crafting text-dependent questions for close reading. #moedchat

Tonight was our “Meet the Teacher”. I was able to greet each child and parent with a smile & a handshake (& an occasional hug). I’ve sent them a welcome letter introducing myself. Now the hard work begins to really cultivating those relationships. #moedchat
