The goal of #wvedchat is to provide educators an opportunity to connect, share, and learn from others by engaging in conversations around issues and topics in education.
A1: I have been out of my primary role as an educator for the past few years working as a TSS. This year I've picked up some of those duties again providing PD to teachers and staff at a few schools. I forgot how much I loved it! #WVEdChat
Can't wait until we can do a Hangout or Skype session and get this planned out! I think you and @pennyrahill will rock it with your students. #WVEdChat
Thank you, last week @stowers_melissa kids listened to a podcast and they came up with some questions to ask when they go to @GrittsFarm . Tomorrow we are going to talk about the parts of a podcast. #WVEdChat

The great thing about a #podcast is that it can be whatever they want! No #podcast has to always be the same. Let them explore and play with the format and find what they think works best and then respond to #feedback from anyone who listens. #WVEdChat

Q2: my kids motivate me to change; always doing the same thing and not being excited to do it over and over is no fun; we have to change if we want to keep up with them #wvedchat
A2: My personal reflections. At the end of the day I look back and think how I could have done a better job or been a better person. It is being honest with myself. #wvedchat
A2: #wvedchat 1) Boredom. I don't want to keep doing the same things over and over again. 2) Inspirational teachers. I want to be more like the teachers I look up to. 3) Concern for my students. How awful if I were still the same teacher I was my first year!
A2: I always hear people talk about the things that you could do that are out of your comfort zone and don’t always get too comfortable; I tend to get comfortable fast #wvedchat
A4: The students have been able to find their voice with some of the teachers I have worked with because they have picked up @flipgrid and started using it #WVEdChat
A4: w/ the podcast I think that they will learn a lot about things they are interested in, get their questions answered; having a student-teacher gives me an extra hand in the room to meet all their needs #wvedchat
Just wait until your parents get to hear their students asking those questions and taking control of their learning! It is #powerful and a perfect example of #ChoiceAndVoice. #WVEdChat
A5: I can't really say since I'm split between several sites. I wish I had a larger role than I have at each one so that I could effect change more than I do. If I had to pick one, it was getting YouTube to work the way we wanted for our teachers! #LOL#JustKidding#WVEdChat
A6: An administrator can #MakeOrBreak positive change. If they are willing to be flexible and go with things fluidly, then change will be great. If they are not, then change will become a chore and success will NOT follow. #WVEdChat
A7: I want to find a way to reach more people with my #SphereOfInfluence. I want to share more stories from other educators. I want to keep providing #edtech tips to educators and helping to support them to be the best for their students. #WVEdChat
A7 (cont.): I also want to get my #EdTechShorts podcast ranked as high in Apple Podcasts/iTunes in the United States as it is in Sweden! I'm currently #15 there somehow! #ROFL#WVEdChat
A7:In my personal life I want to be that mom who doesn’t go totally insane when my child leaves for college in August; I know I will cry lots but I want to let her learn and grow too #wvedchat
Thanks for joining us tonight for #wvedchat. We will be off on 10/30 so everyone can enjoy Halloween. We’ll see you back on 11/13 for 3D Printing with @pennyrahill moderating.
