-
Welcome. Congrats on year one!
-
A2: Beginning the adventure this year and hope to learn from this conversation to
-
A2 - I learned that my ideas do not have my DNA and I need to put them out there for all to consider and see what happens!
-
A2: I learned that I need to slow down and spend more time listening generously.

So important that leaders do that. We learn from listening. https://t.co/1ZqQbrlWZE

A2: I'm part of a team committed to putting in work, supporting each other, taking risks, serving teachers, & having fun.

I was trained to teach. Leading other teachers and starting tech initiatives is challenging.

Hey everyone! Dan, Instructional Coach in Connecticut. Sorry I'm late!

I learned how to be a better communicator, not too much and not too little sharing.
-
-
A4: This year I'll hold an official title as lead innovator & hope to build confidence in users to implement more tech
-
A4: I helped bring genius hour into my school. Tried it out with a couple teachers and worked really well. Very proud!
-
how did you attempt to find that balance?
-
That can be tricky for me to manage sometimes but so important! https://t.co/XPcqh10LcZ

Sometimes titles help when you are trying to lead.
-
What helped you with this? Trial and error? Concern of mine as I begin as coach.
-
I learned through trial and error, but found a balance when I began to choose my words more carefully.
-
A3: I instituted a bit of fun into the year w spirit days & fully participated 2 enjoy fr behind the scenes & as a participant.
-
Coaching is one of the best jobs in education! Can definitely be a challenge, though!
-
it's important to remember to participate in the fun things ourselves.
-
A4- I am pushing for mindset on my campus inspired by to spread positivity
-
Reminds of the book I'm reading, The Innovator's Mindset. A lot is mentioned about leader modeling. https://t.co/q3ZDE1nK6j

IMHO the title helps to secure attention & possibly implementation but it will not initiate or sustain change.

I am nervous, excited and anxious all at the same time!
-
- I will check out that book & recommend Urban Meyer's Above The Line. https://t.co/dOemhkQClx

My biggest fail this year was trying to do waaaay too many things. Juggling too many balls. I learned I can't do everything.
-
- Agreed a title alone does not make a leader! https://t.co/xuDI1i7Ej2
