A1: field day usually turns into a large event w/families present. A lot of fun. staff bingo tomorrow after school
A1: We do a talent show, 6th grade v. staff bball game, and lots of classes present learning projects with parents and food
t&f mostly, our T had a super hero theme, this year is olympic w/ classes representing a country, fun!
one school brings in a band, do a carnival, and rent a couple food carts...that's a party
Love that you tied the year back to your superhero theme...powerful...
can't take credit for that one, have a terrific pe teacher
Q2: What drives you nuts at the end of the year and how might we change that?
A2: Discipline seems to climb, kids stacked up in the office, me running frantically all over! Solution: need stress relievers

Q2: What is good advice for teachers to end the year?
comfy shoes, touching basechallenging students and adults, finding time to keep myself in balance. ExerciseHot baths!
A1: Support each other; use buddy classes 4 discipline; get classrooms 2gether cross grade levels; PBL, presenters, presentations
absolutely keep the kids learning and the excitement and anxiety lessons the stress

A4: Find hiding places to work; delegate like crazy; pull people to support during high discipline times; praise all day
A4: slow down, reflect, dind balance and acknowledge every one's contributions, start planning for next year

listen to everyone on staff, keep up w/parent relations, remember the kids, and don't forget your own family

It's tough to giver our self permission sometimes to do that...but the world must revolve if I take 30 minutes
A1). We have an end of year BBQ for all the students. various drinks, snacks, and meats. Kids love it.
