A2: Lots of things. I've really had to willingly learn the business end of instructional technology this year. #techtalkga
  • ehlmstech Apr 23 @ 9:15 PM EDT
#TECHtalkGA A3: No regrets, just wish I could pull in more local people into my PLN to help build instructional technology from the educators perspective rather than the tech support perspective.
  • iamryanwhite Apr 23 @ 9:15 PM EDT
A3 Not sure that I have any regrets. I've learned a lot over the years and constantly reflect on implementations, programs, and building relationships. I'll always be a work in progress. #TECHtalkGA
  • CatFlippen Apr 23 @ 9:15 PM EDT
I very much appreciate the candor of this tweet, my friend! THANK YOU for speaking this truth; there are many others looking to make this sort of change, and it will be encouraging for them to see how it resulted positively for you! #TECHTalkGA

  • JustMewborn Apr 23 @ 9:17 PM EDT
#TECHtalkGA A3: One regret would be not making it to more edcamp style learning opportunities.
  • BrysonBridget Apr 23 @ 9:17 PM EDT
A3: I regret not making changes with how I grade sooner - I’ve been as much a reason for grades preventing learning at times. I’m excited to move forward with new ideas and plans to evaluate standards not compliance - wish me luck 🙄😂🤞 #TechTalkGA
  • MmeBurgess - Moderator Apr 23 @ 9:17 PM EDT
That's hard, b/c the tech support is easy, while the instructional coaching is harder and takes more time, It's a mind shift for you and teachers, but you'll all get there! Maybe at different times, LOL, but it's the path we're all trying to follow. #TECHtalkGA
    In reply to @CharlesBeusse
  • CatFlippen Apr 23 @ 9:17 PM EDT
I was and still am so proud of you for taking this chance, for interviewing, and for taking the leap! What is most important is that you have the power to make a difference for kids who don't deserve a mediocre education, no matter where they live. Thank you! #TECHtalkGA

  • ClintWinter Apr 23 @ 9:19 PM EDT

  • JasonKouns1 Apr 23 @ 9:22 PM EDT
Sorry I’m just seeing this @ClintWinter @MmeBurgess! I would certainly change the intro to Google and Chrime to be more “scheduled”, rather than deep end of pool. #TECHtalkGA

#techtalkga A5: I don't know what all my goals will be in a year. If I put on blinders and push forward, I can make it far.
  • jklcassidy Apr 23 @ 9:30 PM EDT
A5: my dissertation is focused on twitter and Pinterest and digital natives. So I will be around. Lol #TECHtalkGa

Great chat tonight, #TECHtalkGA! Thanks to everyone who participated! If you’ve been reading along & lurking, consider speaking up! Next week’s chat will mark the return of two of our founders, @JFarm & @maherley! Join us to welcome them back!

#TECHtalkGA As an admin, this is tough, especially at the HS level where we tend to have a “few” more traditional lecturers!

....also, I already have a list of books to suggest that would be fun to read for forward-thinkers such as this group. #TECHtalkGA

A5: I’m continuing to work on basic google certification. I’ve “soft launched” my PD website with the help of @AnnaColley and @cbuckybeaver and I’m getting as involved with as many #edcamp sessions and other tech conferences, Twitter too, as possible! #TECHtalkGA #gwinchat
  • ClintWinter Apr 23 @ 9:33 PM EDT
#techtalkga please join my ongoing chat where we discuss all things Edtech and John Cougar Mellencamp. It's called #johncougarmellenchat. I'm going to do my dissertation on that one day.
  • JasonKouns1 Apr 23 @ 9:33 PM EDT
Only way to grow is to continue to step away from our areas of comfort @mrsbuckenham! Kudos for PLN participation. I’m not a techie at all so I get real anxious in here. #TECHtalkGA
