    Well, @matthew_t_moore... @FliptechEC is in the middle of its call for papers. We have had a very robust response to the call to say the least, and we are looking for even more hay are interested. Know anyone? #flipclass

    #flipclass has made a huge difference. Before the flip HW was worth 25%. Now it is worth 10 and mastery quizzes worth 20%

    My grading has come a looooong way. Not sure of the correlation - it's all intertwined - but #flipclass definitely connected to more meaningful grades.

    Flipcon 15 made me re-evaluate the purpose of HW. But I had S acing tests w/o doing HW. So maybe intertwined for me but sparked by #flipclass

    Why yes, #ILFABN is kicking off after the first of the year and will happen in chicago a week before #ISTE (also in Chicago) and your #fliptechEC in NJ. so there are a lot of great #flipclass PD opportunities this summer.

    Before #flipclass I never really knew who or how the practice sent home was being completed. Much better to see successes and struggles in class. :)

    #flipclass has helped me reevaluate just about everything I do, not just grading and homework. But the wheels move slowly.

    It’s very close! But the first day of the conference is our last day of school, and I don’t think I can get out of it. I’m still going to try. #flipclass

    and I would take a grade just b/c something was done. B/c of #flipclass I know when students are beyond practice and ready to demonstrate learning.

    Yes. #flipclass coincided with major shifts in my classroom. But it's been a process and has taken time.

    I’m striving to make my #flipclass for next semester more standards-based. A bunch of work but worth it. If that works, mastery may be my next attempt!

    I think I may do the organic chem unit mastery-style next semester. It’s definitely a unit you want Ss to understand basics really well before advancing. #flipclass

    not easy to answer. At my previous school students worked through booklets throughout the semester to do the unit as an independent study alongside the rest of the material. I’m at a new school, but the only one teaching the gr12 chem next sem, so I can do what I want! #flipclass

    Sometimes Ts at this school have started the semester with O chem, some have started with quantum. My previous school started with eq’m to scare Ss! Lookingforward to trying things differently. #flipclass

    When I was in 3rd yr unit I bought myself a book called Organic Chemistry as a 2nd Language heh...just trying to make their experience easier than mine was! #flipclass
