Yes. Find out who are the experts in your school - not always those with loudest voice. Technicians often masters of practical sci #ASEChat

#asechat Invest in a good revision guide (different from those students use) - its an extra source of ques. I like those with examiner input
  • Newmanphysics Sep 4 @ 3:19 PM EDT

Yes I'd forgotten I'd had that "get through this lesson, this double page" mindset rather than thinking about where I was going #asechat

wish I’d known that everyone talks about and remembers the worst bits. Focus on the good bits every day, there will be some #ASEChat

The bits that kept me sane was the social side of teaching - staff teams school discos and trips. Learn about pupils as individuals #ASEChat

Remembered a good #NQT tip. Don't wear a white shirt on photo day. If background white you look like a dismembered head balanced on a tie.

I was much better once I started thinking about two weeks ahead in my planning. A penny dropped. #ASEchat

#ASEchat If you see a pen on the floor, in the playground etc, pick it up for your 'spare pens' pencil case.
