A1 - I don't do anything exceptional when it comes to Grammar Instruction. I teach it in isolation (yuck) & integrate it into Writer's Workshop. I have my kiddos watch BrainPops, SchoolHouseRocks & play games. Then, they take a Socrative quiz: https://t.co/GSkFchKRyw #5thchat

The best thing ever! You pull a sentence from a text you are reading. Then on Monday you notice elements of a good writing, Tuesday you notice parts of speech, Wednesday you revise the sentence, and Thursday you imitate the writer's style. #5thchat
