A4: Ts & Ss are creating intro videos for our school FB page introducing new initiatives for next year!
Counting down the days LOL
A5 Avoid giving up and speaking out of frustration. Avoid anything that causes us to not give our best to students.

A5: Free time! Busy worksheets!
Amen! Keep the idea of learning going! https://t.co/JeoRYYmeWU
A5: Avoid quitting! We're so focused on our WHY we just keep innovating and prepping for next year!
That's my move with . You got it!
Will try this idea w Ts next week during PD session. A4
A5 I've seen teachers use the last week only to clean rooms. That's missing a chance to make a difference for kids.
I made them. Sketched out stick kids, cut the vinyl and voila! So easy and fun to see the kids wearing them!
Very good point here ! I also think it applies to everyone (teachers and admin included !) https://t.co/6mWjae7uTI
A5: with my special needs kiddos, it is very important to keep as much consistency as possible. Too much change isn't easy for them
Great time to focus on growth - talk with others about growth - student, self, w/ families. Celebrate!! https://t.co/yfJxWHFwmA
You count down to first day next year. We have 97 days until we start 3rd grade!
One of my biggest challenges right now is balancing the end of this year, while simultaneously preparing for next. Never enough time
A5: Drives me crazy to hear, "We don't do much that last week anyway." Whose fault is that? https://t.co/zxDSRIlVLa
A5: avoid judgment, passing on biases to next year's teachers--too talkative, doesn't try, etc. are not productive comments
A5: Days without a purpose. Even if it is a life lesson rather than a “standard” based, it still needs purpose.
. A2: High expectations critical. Performance expected. Ps & Ts make it happen. https://t.co/SnjvcOUHf4

I made them. Sketched out stick kids, cut the vinyl and voila! So easy and fun to see the kids wearing them!
Then we throw in 1/2 days & such which makes everyone question WHY
Avoid days without a purpose. LOVE your word choice. https://t.co/eYVi5x49Dc
A5: Days without a purpose. Even if it is a life lesson rather than a “standard” based, it still needs purpose.
I would gather other Ts that tho k the same way and start a new trend ! Count days until start of year !
A5 Things to avoid: not being prepared each day, allowing Ss to "get away" with behaviors you didn't allow all year.
A5) Avoid video after video after video. My son is in HS and every day it's a video. Ugh.
A5) countdowns. For some of our kids we will be counting down an end to safety, food, consistency, &comfort https://t.co/5dmOZWkuWf
Q5: What are some things to avoid in the final weeks of the school year?

. No, I do not! Got me! Scrabble word? Tell me. Tell me, T. Oh please!
Yes, exactly ! Make a big deal about it, get everyone's attention !
A6 We don't have a coordinated effort for this. However another school does a summer reading bus & other events. Looking for ideas
A6) We make sure schedule changes due to special events still give Ts planning time.
A6: We open our media center 4 times during the summer for Ss & Ps to come to school.
A6 We offer Summer camp in Writing, Math, and Science. Ss receive a list of the new "Sunshine State" books.
Phenomenon that exists because there is a beginning and an end. There needs to be a continuous cycle https://t.co/uV7AAV1hyT
A5: Drives me crazy to hear, "We don't do much that last week anyway." Whose fault is that? https://t.co/zxDSRIlVLa

This is uh-may-zing! https://t.co/G6VHrtg8GF
A6: We open our media center 4 times during the summer for Ss & Ps to come to school.
