I don’t think I’ve had any this year (and somehow I missed crazy socks for Down’s Syndrome this week), but I’ve done Star Wars, mustache day, etc. It depends on the kids and where they take me #bfc530

All the snow here at the end of March has made it impossible for me to get thr baseball team started although thr snowblower started very well on Wednesday #bfc530
We have learning forums where students attend workshops of their choice related to a particular topic, e.g. after reading the YA Omnivore’s Dilemma we had “Omnivore’s Forum”—workshops from local food experts. We’ve also had a Pay It Forward Forum and a Language Forum.

Today 8th grade at our school is having a professional dress day ... looking sharp and having pride in oneself. We help as many as we can meet that goal. #bfc530
One unique thing we do in #1st3days of school is to hold an all-school rally during Friday's last period to celebrate the opportunities for all students in clubs, arts and sports. All are cheered! Encourages Ss to take a risk.

It's been a strange week with snow in late March. I'm thankful to end the week with a full day. It might sound crazy, but I'm looking forward to having my Ss for the whole day. #bfc530

Thankfully I work in a central office that's filled with former teachers. Even though we're no longer in schools, we have someone who organizes monthly pride days (school shirts, holiday sweaters, Olympics, etc) and weekly grilled cheese lunches. #bfc530

Lots of spirit days with specific clothing. We did have pay it forward bracelets a while ago. Multicultural dinner coming up. Sports teams always dress up to away games. #bfc530
We do some so many celebrations! Every week there is a spirit week in some school, and so many days supporting commmunity causes and encouraging inclusivity, multi-culture always nights, and more! #bfc530

We had one earlier in the year ... some teachers complained because the ids just wanted to tae pictures of themselves and their friends because they looked so good. #bfc530

I wish LOL. I remember playing Spring Break games in college down in FL back in the late 80's & meeting George Foster who was coaching a CT HS prep team. It was the 1st time I heard of a HS team from Northeast doing Spring Training in FL #bfc530

My school has a specific program designed to support students with Autism so we celebrate Autism Awareness Day by encouraging everyone to wear blue, which is the colour for Autism awareness. Coming up on April 2, by the way! 🔵 #bfc530

We have several PJ/Hat Days for different awareness fundraisers,a monthly black and gold day for our PTO meeting days, and we have activities for the lower grades during Read Across America Week (upper grades are taking the state standardized test). #bfc530
In the school I teach at we have several different "unique" pride days that are scheduled. One week is Red Ribbon Week. It brings awareness to drugs and alcohol prevention. We "sock it" to drugs by wearing crazy socks and wear red for awareness. @StephDeLuca16#bfc530
