    A1: My mom and dad planted my leadership seed early. We were quite poor, but I never knew that until I was in my teens. My dream was to be the first to graduate college in my fam, & our circumstances didn't stop that. So thankful for the work ethic they instilled in me. #leadlap

    A1: It's kind of weird, but leadership sort of chose me - not the other way around. I was encouraged to move into a curriculum coordinator role and I've continued to grow as a leader from there. It wasn't an original goal of mine - sort of organic. #LeadLAP

    A5: We unfortunately lost one of our students to gun violence this last Nov. The school held a memorial for him and made a memory wall in the building. His mother approached me at the memorial and said " Thank you for loving my babies!" #Leadlap

    I recently attended a day long workshop with @JonathanKegler and he opened by talking about burning our box instead of thinking outside of it. Then we made empowerment maps and really explored our why. It has refocused me for the spring semester. #LeadLAP
