#ALedchat Archive
#ALedchat is a weekly chat on Twitter about education topics. It is held each Monday from 9-10pmCST. While the discussion on #ALedchat continues on Twitter well beyond our weekly one-hour chat session, this platform affords us the opportunity to extend, expand and share the conversation with an even greater audience. Educators from across the state of Alabama, and the world, can come here to find encouragement, support, resources, professional growth opportunities and advice, while providing the same to their colleagues.

re-charge.. https://t.co/jooR4DuSBZ
Q7 Summers off for Ts is a myth. In the little time that you get, what is the #1 thing U do to recharge & refocus for the NewYear?
We all have our own rules. If I like anything too much, it's not good for me. Sleep, I like way too much https://t.co/qMSp8ch9yl
A7: Summers mean a little more time with my kids and getting a few days to sleep in!
A7: Favorite thing to do is lay by the pool, listening to children laughter, and reading a book for enjoyment. Family Time!
A6: Always appreciating what others do no matter how big or small. I was taught to always say thank you. It goes a long way!
A7: Take time to reflect on the year. Continue courses and prepare for a new exciting journey starting in August!!
A. I run more, sleep more, find some time to get a suntan and schedule all the appointments I should have made earlier!
Along with yes, sir and no, ma'am.
I used to sneak into dodgeball games during PE :D
A7: I like to interact with peeps who are positive and passionate ... and that energizes me.
A7: I love to read "beach books" as well as prof books. I also love to be outdoors & enjoy nice weather!
A7:Sleep.. Reading for fun, connecting with other educators at a couple of workshops, and learning new tools for the upcoming year
Absolutely! I am from the Midwest, so that is all I know :-)
A: Summer planning, lrning, & reflection w/ leaders and Ts help us prepare to progress and start the new year w/ a surge
A7: ... and Gatorade is good for the electrolytes.
A7: Summer is time for my 2nd passion: animal rescue. Driving 50-80 dogs from TN to NYC a few times is a great break from school.
A6 All of the above! Thanks can be expressed in a multitude of ways!
A7: Always look for ways to tweak what has been done. each class has a different dynamic. Must look for ways to make things better
Final Question coming up in 1 min
A7: Learn something new that I can share with teachers & students, and spend the majority of my "time off" at the beach

FQ “The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won” What did you preserver through & win this year?
I can't really discuss what I've "won" on here until it is official but I have persevered through a very trying year in district.
FA: I feel like I have won because my students don't want to count down the day til end, they don't want to leave!
FA: Smiling more days and seeing my Ss smile as they learned they could do it
FA we had walkthroughs that were about our learning & improve. We persevered through other perception to make our practice better
That is the greatest victory I've heard about in a long time https://t.co/xk91YkL4Oa
