I’ll miss all the kids I won’t get to see on a regular basis. I’ll also miss the teachers who are staying home with their babies and those that are moving on to new adventures. This has been an amazing team! #txed

#txed A1 My 104 9th grade Algebra students were AMAZING! They worked together and did ALL the STAAR Reviews I made. Toward the end they were teaching each other the skills. Result... 100% PASS and AMAZING 90% COMMENDED! Gonna miss these hard workers!

I got a bike for Mother’s Day. I am having such a great time riding it each night. I know it will get too hot soon, but for now, it makes me happy! #TXed
A2 My 16-year-old daughter and I are traveling together to Minnesota. It’s going to be great to have someone help me drive. We are making a stop in Chicago to tour Northwestern, her first college visit! #txed

Every evening I consider the day and replay conversations. I reach out for advice, write notes, and always read and look to my PLN...I want to continue to improve my feedback and coaching practices b/c I know this is what moves instruction and students forward! #txed

A3: I’ve been reflecting already. I have areas I want to improve on. I’m so blessed That my principal @CyFairCFisher and my AP partner @SuzanneCFISD are always there to talk me through anything and give me immediate feedback so I can reflect and grow. #TXed

A4: Honestly, I'm not sure yet. I've dipped a toe into standards based grading, but I know there is so much more I can do with it that will really revolutionize learning and feedback in my classroom. I'm looking to expand on #SBG and see what doors it opens for my kids! #txed
