I am a 7th grade teacher from La Crosse, Wisconsin. My students and I are huge fans of #Clips, and we have enjoyed learning with this app in social studies, reading, and writing class this year! #AppleEDUchat
I'm Bethany, an art teacher from Wisconsin and I love using Clips! It is my "Daily App" and I can't wait to see how everyone else is using it in their classrooms! #AppleEDUchat
Alrighty! Let's start "CLIPPIN" away at tonight's questions! Q1: What is your favorite feature of Clips? How does this benefit learning? #AppleEDUchat#wiscoclips
A1: My favorite feature of #clips is live titles! The coolest trick is to edit out all the words except the ones you want to STAND OUT! #AppleEDUchathttps://t.co/aqRQEHX06s
I LOVE the posters (so great for sharing info), stickers (perfect for how-tos) the music (copyright free ROCKS) and LIVE TITLES! Love that they help young learners associate verbal with visual! #AppleEDUchat
A1: Another favorite feature of #clips is the Soundtracks! The music is amazing, and there is a song to fit every mood. When students capture a mood it can enhance any content area video! #AppleEDUchat
A1: One last feature to love about #clips is filters. Sometimes the perfect photo isn't captured by students, but by adding a filter they can create an effect that works! My favorite filter is Ink! #AppleEDUchat
A1) That all young adults can create with clips. They have so many options to create. Young adults love that they can be serious or have a ton of fun. Music is an absolute favorite feature. #AppleEDUchat
Couldn't agree more Lori! I have found that with the handy globe, it's a breeze to change the language for foreign language classes! #AppleEDUchat#WIscoClips
YES! The labels!!!! So great! The kids love them too - and it is fun to have them label different parts of a project or "show what they know" with labels! :) #AppleEDUchat
A1: I love live titles! I’ve been using Clips with grades 6-9 ESL students and this has been such a powerful tool as students create and listen/revise/edit their Clips. #AppleEDUChat
Alrighty! Let's start "CLIPPIN" away at tonight's questions! Q1: What is your favorite feature of Clips? How does this benefit learning? #AppleEDUchat#wiscoclips
A1: Clips’ greatest feature is its interface. It’s intuitive and similar to social media apps that my students already use. This means they’re up and running with almost no learning curve. #AppleEDUChat
Hi #appleeduchat! Casey here - Dir. of Technology Innovation & STEM Programs @RoseTreeMedia just outside of Philadelphia. Excited to chat about my FAVORITE app, clips tonight!
A1 So hard to pick just one! I love the posters because Ss can personalize and it makes it look so much more like a fancy video. Great for my elementary kiddos! #AppleEDUchat
A1: CLIPS in general is so user friendly. I love that my students need little to no help when using the app! But live titles are AMAZING!!! I also love the new animated circles and arrows! #AppleEDUchat
welcome friend!! :) And I couldn't agree more! I love the posters and get giddy like a school kid when they release new ones!! #AppleEDUchat#WIscoClips
YAY!!!!!!!!!!! @FelecityTreptow and I were just talking about howe we have some of the same ADE friends, and your name might have come up! ;) :) Hope all is well! #AppleEDUchat
A1: So many, where to begin? I like having the opportunity to annotate a photo or video using the variety of labels. When creating a video for any kind of learning, T or S, this is helpful to me. #AppleEDUchat

A2: One of the first #clips projects my students created used Creative Commons photos to summarize a chapter in the book Hidden Human Figures. Our tech skills grew as the year progressed! https://t.co/YeSnVvzY8O#AppleEDUchat
A2: Students used Magic Move on Keynote to animate a story using Clips. Here is a cute one called Animal School by Ellie https://t.co/XGSTesnZVO#appleEDUchat
A2: Another incredible example of animation using Magic Move on Keynote, Sketchbook, and Clips was done by Gandarv. https://t.co/dL2uy3guX9#appleEDUchat
A2: We used Clips for my son’s #TryItTuesday 1st grade homework assignment. We took videos overlaid with stickers and a poster intro for him to demo how to make an ocean in a bottle. So intuitive for him to use and he could record in parts. #AppleEDUchat
A2: Every year we celebrate Idiom Day! It’s one of the best days of the year! Great for #ell students! What does “hit the hay” really mean? Here is #clips example from Tate https://t.co/2LiKCJaxY3#AppleEDUchat

Alrighty! Let's start "CLIPPIN" away at tonight's questions! Q1: What is your favorite feature of Clips? How does this benefit learning? #AppleEDUchat#wiscoclips
A2: One of my FAV uses by @MissThompson31 is for Spelling units! When you have kids at different levels you can record yourself giving the test and then post it on an LMS. Super slick and easy! All lists given in 10 min! #AppleEDUchat#WIscoClips
A2: My students just wrapped up a @Desmos Linear (and not-so-linear) Pet House graphing project. I used Clips to create a gallery of projects for each class period. Check out these Algebra-meets-ART student creations! https://t.co/UcO2YukymG#AppleEDUchat
A2: We used zoom #clips recently. Students zoomed in on a picture that represented a vocabulary word. Other students guessed what word it represented. Then the photo was zoomed out and the vocab word was revealed. The students loved guessing! #appleeduchat
A2Today, I asked students to share a video them reading their fav page from their historical fiction book. We ran into a problem bc they wanted to post it to two places. A student says: “miss Thompson, lets just use clips!” Boom! Problem solved! #appleEDUchat
A2) I use Clips instead of a notebook to share information with families and create @FlipGrid prompts among many other things. Young adults create tutorials, elevator speeches and to send messages/questions & more. #AppleEDUchat
You know the flexibility of handling a mobile device cannot be matched by a laptop. Ask anyone trying to do camera stuff with chromebooks #appleeduchat

A2) I’m at soccer practice without access to my clips BUT I made some to feature some of our teachers this year! Plan to make lots more next year!! #AppleEDUchat
I also have the students make videos on topics. Like why coding matters... and post to a grid for easier grading and feedback. #clips is by far the easiest to plug in. #appleeduchat
A2 my dream is for teachers to use Apple Clips to document professional learning or create personalized/contextualized content for their school #AppleEDUchat
There is a misconception that iPads are appropriate for only young kids. Poppycock!!!!!!!. I have 20 year olds writing all their papers on them. #appleeduchat

A2 I combine the major points from our building monthly PD and make a Clips video. I share it with staff via the newsletter. Great reminder of what we did in PD and easy for them to reference. #AppleEDUchat
