Steve from NJ here. Active in the #ARVRinEdu community and part of @Foundry10VR research on #VR in the classroom and ambassador for the #XR4Change#XR4C community. Super excited about student creation in #XR.
Hello #ARVRinEDU! I am Rebekah, doc student at NCSU in Learning Design and Tech. VR is not my main area of interest, but seems to keep popping up in my world, so here I am!
Hello #arvrinedu , joining in from Pittsburgh, have used @cospaces_edu for a few years, love all of the new features, my Ss really created awesome projects last year

Hello! I’m joining from Singapore! This is one of the extremely rare days when my students are with another teacher and I’m free for #ARVRinEdu. Yay! I’m an avid user of AR in the classroom, but just starting to get my feet wet with @cospaces_edu. Excited for the possibilities!

I’m Brian, I’m from my bed here in southern NJ. Is CoSpaces that 80s movie with Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd? #ARVRinEDU HA! I have been making in CoSpaces since the beginning!
A1 I am going to be trying to get my 4th Grade teachers to incorporate @cospaces_edu into the annual Famous Missourians project, where we act out a biography of people like Walt Disney, Harry Truman, etc. #arvrinedu
A1: I am working with some 360 images to create a tour for teachers to use at a location where students are often rushed through. Investigating whether @cospaces_edu can fit into this. #ARVRinEdu
A1 CoSpaces will be new to my students, so I plan on letting them explore first. Since I’m relativelynew at it too, we will explore together 😀 #ARVRinEDU
A1: my first project will be to have students design a place that makes them happy using obj from the library, Google poly or their own designs. #ARVRinEDU
A1: my Ss will explore @cospaces_edu in a sandbox space and then build a VR tour of the school. Gradually adding CS and coding K-8 in my new role I’m Dallas at #sjesdallas starting with 6th and sprinkling everywhere else. I’m the CS fairy this year. #arvrinedu
A1: #ARVRinEDU I am teaching in a brand new flexible learning environment this year with 3 other teachers. We have nearly 100 students in one giant space. I’d love to have my students use @cospaces_edu to design a virtual version of our room and set it up the way they want it.
A1: great question. My goal is to have students create content that can be explored in #VR, primarily for @htcvive and @oculus or a project with @MergeVR and @cospaces_edu - need to do some more research :) #ARVRinEdu
A friend sent me a PDF of the cube to print and glue together, I asked the @MergeVR guy at @iste if it was ok to make a big one, he said yes, just share it, so we're going to make a big one, put it in the middle of the room and have some fun! #arvrinedu
A1: I am in the process of working up a lesson plan for students to use @cospaces_edu in social studies and have them take different roles in different events-it’s still percolating :) #ARVRinEDU
A2: I teach an intro to instructional tech class and I really try to emphasize creativity and creation with the tools we share. Stu will create a VR experience this year - like I said, cospaces may be a choice! #ARVRinEDU

I really got more excited about ARVR when I saw this: https://t.co/PEgLou5GO6#ARVRinEDU is a cool tool, but what are we going to have students DO with it??
A2 there are a million ways, but pairing up @cospaces_edu with @structure we can add our own students to the worlds and let them tell their own story #arvrinedu
I don’t have a ton of quality vr headsets, but most of my kids have phones. The AR will allow them to see their spaces in the world from multiple perspectives as they do when building. #ARVRinEDU also add a new layer to how they can visualize and create
A2: @cospaces_edu AR feature is great because students can take their creativity to the next level and place it in “the real” world allowing for even more collaborations :) #ARVRinEDU
Ha. I replied and didn’t realize I was replying to you :). Hey buddy! How’s the new gig? Excited for you to showcase @MergeVR and #vr at @minefaire Austin! Who wants to join us? #arvrinedu

A1: It will definitely be a share choice for genius hour projects. I'm not sure yet what else I want to do, but I know there are so many possibilities! #ARVRinEDU
I think if you use it to enhance the ability to show their knowledge, it will be effective. They learn to get creative about showing, but also have to learn so many other 21st Century skills to be able to do it. Leverage the tech for the kids benefit #arvrinedu
A2: AR is so much more accessible so I see it being so much easier to bring into classroom. Not to mention the fact that AR is super cool :) #ARVRinEDU
Hi Priscilla! Where in NJ? I teach in basking ridge. If you can join us at 8am Saturday for #coffeeEduNJ and breakfast at @BnBridgewater as part of their teacher day! #arvrinedu

A4 Just about anything. As I said before, I'm a big fan of adding @structure or @tinkercad and getting them to create their own models to put into the world #arvrinedu
Excited to share that #ARVRinEDU is hosting it's first LIVE session next Wednesday SPONSORED BY @MergeVR! The last Wednesday of the month will be virtual to chat about #AR & #VR in the classroom.
Same time, same place. Watch the discussion & share your thoughts & ideas.
A5 support for OBJ files with MTL (or whatever the texture file is) please, please, please! Also, portals that the headset can "walk through" would be pretty amazing :) #arvrinedu
A5: A classroom connect feature? Where two classrooms can both connect and build groups of students from other parts of the world based on compatible class hours. I want my Ss with work with students globally! #arvrinedu
I always tune in at 8:30 PM (EST) for #arvrinedu and say, okay, in 30 minutes, and then think about it again at 9:30 PM (EST). I MISSED IT!!! Every. Time. Le Sigh.
Oh here is the lab design from last year, previously made by kids. Next year’s lab will be inspired by the newest designs #ARVRinEduhttps://t.co/ETL0hlIYR6
I've only been able to get a single color. We scan ourselves, then import and it would be really awesome if the texture could come through because it would look much more realistic. I will try again in the morning! #arvrinedu
