A1: I think Google Docs primarily.
To save characters Ss=students, Ts= teachers, Ps=Parents, Ad=Admin

so true, they are the best collaboration tool we've ever had!
A1: I had several Ss collaborating on stories with Docs. They were writing on their own time as well

, I had trouble with half the students not receiving any emails I sent them in gmail.
it was a true collaborative work. They were co-authors
Varied with different Ss. Some comments, some collaborative stories
Ts need gmail access to be able to see what the kids need to learn...working on that.

did Ss consider the comments when you offered them?
Yes. Ss took both teacher and Ss comments to heart.
A2: Definitely through the Kagan Structures for one. They are a great way for team building.
A2: Edit or Comment rights on Google Apps to allow Ss to comm in real time.

So true , but I've found my Ss needed practice in how to leave feedback that's truly helpful for the writer.
YES! Leaving that option open allows them to respond to each other
another skill they will need later that we have to model and build for them
I flipped my classroom few times last year. I started using Google Forms to set up a Q & A

I've been deep into reading and this summer I haven't experimented with very much tech.
I love that there are so many tools out there for us to use a variety to keep Ss engaged!
I got to see in grapevine this summer! INSPIRATIONAL! He was great
I would have loved to have been there. The book is amazing.

A4: I've found that Google Classroom helped with organization. Ss appreciated links to resources we discussed in class.

A4: The grammarly extension reads docs to Ss as well. The speech to text helped some students get their ideas down in docs.

A5:Tab Cloud and next year I see myself using Viewpure next year.
A5 was huge for me last year especially since it can send responses to the students
Viewpure lets you access YouTube and does away with the comments, advertisements, etc. Strictly video.
you know forms has a quiz feature now...not a powerful as flubaroo, but for simple things very quick
