Biggest challenge = another new principal. He seems great, but still new! It will be great though!
Good morning all! Good to c so many familiar faces! Yesterday was 1st day of staff being back!
Here with you, my friend! Nice to reconnect!
Not nervous, but excited about schooled implementation of Google Classroom.
...and not being able to creatively teach tech that's climbing the SAMR model and has purpose for all 21st century learners
must have been dinner. the wife is sick as well.
Oh no! Take care of you both!
Good Morning ! It feels like a lifetime since I last wrote that! Excited that I woke up on time to join in! https://t.co/Y9P5NDPLUp
I am so happy to reconnect with you all! I missed you so much!
My school is going through a crazy amount of change. Good change. But I worry about sustaining it.
I'm most nervous about changing grade levels AND being the team leader for that new team.
Great to be back LIbrary media specialist from Indy, Glad to be back (although I have been getting an extra 1/2 hr sleep)
We r launching PBL in full force, w/a new Superintendent as well. Both r very exciting for me!
How was the summer my friends?
That is exciting!! Do you plan to blog about the experience? I'd encourage you to for us all to learn
Good morning all...HS Admin from VA Biggest challenge=being out of the classroom 4 the 1st time
I have almost have Skype, so I am over the moon about that!
We are going 1:1. Starting an ESOL initiative. 25 new teachers. Switching to standards based grading. Its a lot.
My biggest challenge is getting myself to observe less and do more in my field experience. Observation = comfort zone.
Most nervous about returning to the classroom after 16 years of district level work and teaching grade 1...never having done this. 😊
It'll be good. I should have added, I'm taking grad classes too so I just need to make sure I balance life well.
I think it will. Also, we have great support and great leadership. Im feeling positive but nervous.
I hadn't thought of it until u mentioned it. What a great idea! https://t.co/CGBQpJ9kQy
That is exciting!! Do you plan to blog about the experience? I'd encourage you to for us all to learn
That is a lot. We don't do anything slowly, do we?
Hi Ellen!!! How are you? How was your summer?
Very true. If your Coop Ts are open to it, then absolutely jump in and be active. You and the SS will benefit from it
Super excited to get rolling, nervous to teach different levels of courses than I have previously done.
Excellent! I'd love to see how more schools do it as I'm stirring the idea myself
You are here learning, so you are ready! Good luck!
What an adventure you'll have! I know many people who say Gr 1 is the most fulfilling position they've had. https://t.co/ZERsnbDSNV
Most nervous about returning to the classroom after 16 years of district level work and teaching grade 1...never having done this. 😊
Drink a lot of coffee! :) Those 1st graders are lucky to have you!
Biggest challenge: extending by 30 min sch day this year. How do I handle clubs in very long day?
I'm excited to keep making and learn more about student led learning. I hope I can keep the momentum going for my Ss.
Good morning, . It has been too long! I'm Ku, Learning Coach, Argentina
If you need any elementary school collaboration, my 3rd graders and I would love to help!
Getting an early start today. Freshmen arrive ~715 a.m. for orientation; rest of students in at 10.
My goal this year is to minimize T centered instruction- I need engaging resources & clssrm mngmnt https://t.co/GieTuRrMvj
topic today: "What're you most nervous about / what's your biggest challenge as you start this year? How will you tackle it?"
After 15 yrs with the same great assistant, I'll only have her 1 day/week. I'm already way behind...
I'm great! Did you see I met the Phanatic the day I met for a baseball game?
It truly is great to be back ! Returning to a family of friends! Absence makes the heart grow fonder! 😊 https://t.co/rd8904if4g
Nope. :( What a crowd though
I hope you had a great summer, too! I'm so not able to talk in 140 characters:)
AHHH...This sounds like a great idea percolating. Let me c what I can come up with.
I get that in theory; my issue is putting it into practice, especially since I have always been that quiet kid in class.
Thank you for helping to 're-ground' me!
Anticipating some behavior challenges this year. Will meet by developing personal relationships and lead w/positive communication
Good morning, ! You all look beautiful today.
We have been in school for a month. We are continuing with some changes. Sustainability is a worry too. https://t.co/z7D4jDnYaN
The best way to have a productive day is to start with https://t.co/aqMGpyBSLj
I am so happy to reconnect with you all! I missed you so much!
You're one of my best cheerleaders! Thank you!
I am nervous about getting expectations established again, having students enjoy learning. Start of the year is slow.
Yes they are:). I'm having a hard time getting used to these early hours. Maybe by next week.
I am moving up to 5th grade. New challenges and new awesome adventures await!
That's inspiring news! Thank you!
Good Point. think of it from your perspective as a student. How would you have wanted "now you" to be a part of class.
We all support each other. Isn't that why we are crazy enough to be here at
I am going to put this out to my peeps & c what ideas we have
강남야구장 예약하기 ~ 선릉풀싸롱 섬릉야구장 ~
I was too when I did it but such a valuable experience
Trying hard to pull it all together...my classroom has consumed much of my time over a few weeks.
Most nervous? Managing my time as I'm part-time teaching and part-time admin-level, but I know it'll be tough to treat them as such.
Excited 2 stay as close 2 instruction as I can being visible in classes&being apart of the leaning environment
You should always be yourself. Being the quiet teacher in class doesn't mean not being involved comfortably.
Patience for my after school kids...that's a good point. I need to pace myself so I am my best all the way through.
Try new things! I actually need to go back and observe other Ts. I do my own thing 24/7, but am looking for ideas.
I can imagine! What a huge change. You will love it!
Sounds like you've got a great plan! Good luck!!
They witness such a transformation in their Ss, & able to assist them as they gain the gift of reading... https://t.co/mlghdSnH5N
That's inspiring news! Thank you!
thank u! What was your biggest challenge?
Biggest challenge this year will be learning from last year, providing more 1:1 coaching for Teachers.
Have a great day everyone! Day 2 of room set up with lots of meetings sprinkled in!
It seems there are two choices in your situation: more rules, or more love. Glad to see the choice you're making :)
Ku!!!! Great to see you, buddy! Hope you're having a beautiful week. Let me know if you have any Ts who Mystery Skype.
Good morning ! Biggest challenge: time management between teaching and family. Both so important. Hard to balance.
But a great experience for u. Getting that experience will helpful
Start with Learn Like a Pirate! You'll be glad you did:)
You'll find your "flow" in no time. https://t.co/jD102IUZYi
Most nervous? Managing my time as I'm part-time teaching and part-time admin-level, but I know it'll be tough to treat them as such.
This will be tough but very rewarding. You can test run changes with your students first. Wish all admins were dual.
GM. Jumping into this yr w/ my sections. Got comfortable w/ flipclass vids, last yr.
Have a wonderful day everyone! so glad to reconnect!
Some of my fav times teaching were in concert w/ great student Ts. Two adults in the room can be great! https://t.co/ZDSrHei8td
My biggest challenge is getting myself to observe less and do more in my field experience. Observation = comfort zone.
I'll try to remember to send you some pics. Happy Tuesday!
5th graders are fun. They can be handfuls; they usually want to learn and explore. I have had really good discussions
"It always seems impossible until it's done." Words to remember as we look at our fears about the new year.
Thanks. I'm nervous for the time management, but I'm really excited for the position!
Have a great Tuesday everyone. C u tomorrow! Make today ridiculously awesome!
Boy, I'm rusty at this . Repeating myself in tweets... may have to take up drinking coffee
Jump in. Don't worry about knowing everything. Ask questions and let students go. Put the work on them.
Good morning everyone, so happy to be starting a new year.
Have a great Tuesday every1! Inspire build relationships HAVE FUN!
Set limits, you cannot do it all. If you don't take care of yourself and your family your students will suffer.
Being more comfortable going out on a limb for Ss. Doing things I don't feel adequate for. The success of our new school makerspace
Great loss of this Hollywood legend!
My biggest challenge is balancing my wanting to fix it for the teachers with needing them to fix it themselves.
2 new principals at my schools, trying to better integrate tech, and my continuing ed makes me a little nervous. Also balance.
and were huge help to me at .
That is a tough place to be, find a mentor admin to work with so you have ppl to talk to instead of Ts. https://t.co/P8RNp1bhzI
Most nervous? Managing my time as I'm part-time teaching and part-time admin-level, but I know it'll be tough to treat them as such.
You have most everything you need. Try not to be perfectionistic. Seek help as needed. Sit back let Ss work. Surprised.
Just like with students...inspiring independence and self-reliance! Best wishes!
Best wishes for a great day ahead everyone! Much to do with classroom set-up today for me. 😊
Hard to say this but they are your students. Set em up for success but let them figure it out. Help when needed.
Yes, but I missed for this ....
