It did nearly kill me, to avoid the traffic I had to leave home at 6.15am.
My neighbour does this now for longer but is not in education so earns big bucks and works from home two days and stays over one night where the company pay!

But I don’t necessarily think senior leaders have to. My deputy at that school lived round the corner. Horses for courses. Lots of my staff think my commute now is bad, but they’ve never done Sevenoaks to Rotherhithe daily! #ukedchat

Bit of both. I often listen to audiobooks. Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch series has seen me to many a strategy meeting or a flexible learning panel! Sometimes I’m thinking about work stuff, especially HR issues or individual children I’m worried about. #ukedchat

A7 I guess safety is always going to be an issue, especially with younger pupils. Still worth the effort to try to walk if possible/safe. Health benefits. Walking buddies and walking buses are possible solutions. #UKEdChat
