Absolutely, but I know how to cope (walking, yoga, etc.). New Ts have fewer resources as do K-12 Ss.

Put a hand on your abdomen. Breathe w/ your diaphragm, fill body with air. Feel abdomen rise on inhale + fall on exhale.

I try to wait a few seconds and watch. Sometimes I find that I'm jumping to conclusions.
