Morning #BookCampPD ! Kimberly, Reading specialist at a K-5 Elem. school in north TX. I have enjoyed presenting at a tech conference, attending an #edcamp , morning walks, and most importantly my oldest son's wedding!
A6: So many options for PD - have a teacher-led #edcamp style PD, have teacher-led PLCs on topics of people's own choosing, allow teachers to have choice of workshops to attend, etc. Teachers need to be part of the planning & facilitating, & choice of what they need! #leadupchat
Edcamps are a great way to meet people and learn what others are doing in the field.
