#iolchat Ive taken about 2 online classes. My concern is time mgmt. Also don't we have to self-teach since we're not w/ the teacher?

Motivation was a big downfall for me when I took online classes in the past. Definitely need some tips in that area. #iolchat

Keep the end goal in mind! Make sure to take time for yourself. I find it hard to stay motivated without taking time for myself #iolchat

Scheduling, keep an up-to-date calendar with due dates and block time for schoolwork. #iolchat

Persistence is critical - as in any program, learning online will have good weeks and tough weeks #iolchat

I also recommend researching programs with a cohort model: work through the degree with a small group of classmates. #iolchat

Definitely! I try to spend 1-2hrs a day, Mon-Fri, getting through the stuff for the week. About an hour per course #iolchat

In the spring/summer semesters I am only allowed to take 2 classes/semester. Fall &winter 3 classes/semester #Iolchat
